If anyone shops at and is familiar with Hobby Lobby's pricing, they mark their items down 50% off the sticker price every other week. I hate when people leave the stickers on when donating the item to Goodwill because Goodwill takes the sticker into consideration and prices the item half off. So basically, they're attempting to sell the item for the same price that Hobby Lobby sells is at in new condition.🤦♀️
I took a budget cuckoo clock that was missing a part and contacted the factory in Germany. They were extremely nice and sent me the piece I needed. Bought the clock for $2 !!
I finally took a trip to my Goodwill bins today and got a few things, but not nearly as much as you always find. That wicker sleigh is definitely vintage, over 50 years old. I still have ours from my childhood.
clock is just missing the 2 hanging chain with the pine cones, cute! I would have grabbed that star light, I bejewel stuff like that and to have the light under, so cool, I would have kept the brass over copper planter, just needs cleaner, bar keepers friend, and I would have let the mug go instead, but thats just me! LOL❤
1:41 my grandparents had a coo coo clock like that. They are very vintage.i hate that our bins do not sell glassware anymore & we have to next door & pay per piece for it. 5:50 the wood lantern is neat but those baskets 😮❤
Overconsumption in USA is crazy. There are so many shelters etc that could benefit from Goodwill's items. The landfills are already overflowing globally.
Think these people taking videos are hired by goodwill to take these positive videos. N say omg look what i found at goodwill and its worth $$$$. They probably have paid experts who access thier junk before putting it on display. Ive seen furniture being held for antique collecters
I was yelling at the screen for her to get the star. I would have loved to have that--

Girl, you don’t know how well you have it with these bins. I’ve never seen anything like them where I live.
Same here
me either
I thought the 'reddish tint' on the brass planter was a reflection off something near by.
The cuckoo clock was amazing.

Love the clock, I have one that my dad brought home from Germany.

The cuckoo clock is a find! We bought a massive one when we were stationed in Germany, and several smaller ones for family gifts.
I painted a cuckoo clock pale pink. Adorable!
Nice 🙂
What a deal on the clock! Resellers really missed that at the regular Goodwill. Good for you Julie for checking it out online!
To bad you didn't find the weights for the clock... there should be 3 of them.. Nice find
The star was awesome.
The clock is a cookoo. If it's made from black walnut from Germany it sells for a lot of course in working order ...love the cookoos..
I use those big baskets at my front door for shoes
When my brother was in Germany he bought us one.
Those stars, I would have got them, wow what a lot of stuff, they wheel out. 😊
I'm glad you picked up the clock its cool. Just as I said grab the wooden spoon you did, nice job.

The baskets are very nice and look like very good quality.
Great finds.. someone can eBay the pieces they need for the clock. The baskets are amazing . Twenty one dollars not bad.
It would not cost a lot to refurbish that clock. Definitely worth picking up!
Great baskets and clock.
Should have kept the other basket
Cuckoo clocks are very expensive!
I can’t believe you skipped the big rusty star!
What an amazing haul.
Already watched this week!

A used wooden spoon! Yum! It reminds me of why I don't eat anything anyone else cooks.
Love watching your Videos and all the wonderful ideas you make enjoy so much thank you julie
Clock!
If that was a Moravian star you should have gotten it
How much were those large art pieces? Just curious!
You scared me…I thought you were leaving the clock 😮
Oh no!
I really can’t understand why they just trash everything instead of giving it away just through it in the landfill…people 🤦♀️
Good point
Corporate greed!
Actually, stuff is packed in ton-size crates and shipped overseas to the needy.

That's right. Lower the prices per pound to find it good homes instead of filling up our landfills more.
