- Claveria was not on our tourist radar at all, but WOW Mindanao did not disappoint here and we really feel like Misamis oriental is a very special place that more people should know about.
We stopped for dinner at the AMAZING Don Narciso Cafe and had an emotional and beautiful scene just waiting for us. We stayed for hours to watch the sunset before heading to Jila's Smallville for a night sleeping on the mountainside.
Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to Siargao island with Jmayel's mum & Story's grandma just before the Global pandemic that sent the whole planet into quarantine. We got stranded for months and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

What I meant is that Mindanao is not what people see differently like unlucky, bad and the likes. Its good to know that foreign vloggers like Kulas, Kumander Daot and this fam loves Mindanao.

Don't miss pineapple plantations in Del Monte(Bukidnon), parks in Dahilayan, freezing Manolo Fortich(Bukidnon), Gingoog springs & falls(Mis Or), Camiguin Is through Balinagoan, Mis Or, among others. Go for it, guys.
Davao also a lot to offer especially those nearby islands.

I remember growing up in the Philippines, we were brainwashed by government and media propaganda about Mindanao, that it was a very dangerous place with lots of Muslims who would not hesitate kill Christians. Basically, it was a neglected part of the Philippines. No previous president would do enough to improve the lives of our Filipino brothers in Mindanao. They were treated like not part of the Philippines. It all changed with President Duterte. If not for foreign bloggers like you, we would not see how beautiful Mindanao is.
Credits to all the people of Mindanao for the continued growing to be a tourist destination, it is not duterte who made Mindanao a place to travel with, it was already growing since then and i witnessed it because i was born and lived there half of my life and always coming back for vacation. So stop politicking your comments if you are not from Mindanao, there is no single person who did it for Mindanao.

I am glad that you chose to discover Mindanao. You're the 4rth or 5th vlogger that I know of that navigated Mindanao to show everyone how it has changed for the better. Kulas, Tal, Kumander Daot, you, and there's another one that are from eastern Europe.

I guess it was a blessing in disguise that Mindanao has not really been explored that much by many tourists before! The beauty of the place has remained intact and preserved for generations to come. Mass tourism often times ruin the magic and beauty of the place. I can see that they're starting to develop the place so more people can go and visit. I hope that they would do it right and find the right balance between progress & preserving the environment! I hope you guys can go back there in the future to see the completion of developments being made. Communing with nature is very therapeutic and good for the soul especially now that you've just lost Eden. I'm happy for you guys that you get to experience this with Story. That view of the mountains & the stunning sunset were truly breathtaking! Truly, a sight to behold!😊

Lovely place been there long time ago the vegetable farn there are so massive cold cool place Baguio in Mindanao
Mindanao is beautiful, unfortunately it has had a negative reputation due to troubles before. First time I went there was some apprehension but it quickly went away as you get to meet more people and see a lot more places. Lots of waterfalls to see all over. When in Bukidnon drop by Del Monte farms, you guys also need to visit the Philippine Eagles.

Love your adventure since day one of this Mindanao trip a tribute for eden. Sunset wow spectacular...i was blown away the view with that sunset amazing with story in it and mommy shasha can't get enough the sunset. Different from Siargao Sunset coz of the sorounding mountains but same BEAUTIFUL. TAKE CARE ALWAYS GUYS. Been following your trip. My hubby and I been to GINGOOG but never been there in that place. You can go to Balingasag then to an island CAMIGUIN were you can see the Volcanos there
You guys cannot imagine the fear of Mindanao instilled in us, Filipinos in the 70s, unimaginable. Especially for those of us in Luzon. So Mindanao has never been in our wildest imagination or even in our bucket list.
Yes! This is our rerouting road bound to Gingoog City because of the breathtaking views of nature and cold fog!
