Nice job. I got to make a couple of these after seeing your video. If you don't mind I have a tip for you. Cut a piece of scrap 3 inches long and to use for marking the distance from the rung to the clip. It's faster and easier than measuring each and every space with a tape.

I would love for you to make a foot stool from an old dresser drawer with legs, and a cloth covered lid for storage. Hope you will show your talent on this project and give me some ideas. Thanks in advamce.
shannon, what kind of gloves are you using when you stain. every pair of gloves i use, they end up getting stiff and crack and tear in the fingertips...:( love this diy as well! going to make! how about a diy rustic distressed American flag? large enough ro be used for outside decor?
I use Dextatron nitrile gloves. Hubby gets them through his work and they have worked great! I'm sure you can probably order them too. Love the flag idea! Thank you!!
Hmm... Maybe build picture frames into it. Or build the ladder around the picture frames. That probably would be the easiest way to go about it vs. having the possibly caulk glass into the ladder.
