Hope that you guys have had a good time and a pleasant stay in KL. What a wonderful video. KL is such a lovely affordable city to live in, and it's still a big value for your money.

For a budget of USD1,450 for a week, you guys can stay few nights at the luxurious hotels like the Four Seasons, St Regis, Ritz Carlton either in KL or Langkawi. Or you guys can stay few nights in Mandarin Hotel or Traders Hotel in KLCC. For slightly cheaper than that, you guys can stay near KLCC like ShangriLa, Grand Hyatt, Banyan Tree, Renaissance, Marriott or in Hilton, Meriden at KL Sentral. I've seen a vlog by a Canadian couple who spent a month at a 5 star hotel in KL with daily breakfast buffet for two with a budget of less than what you guys spent, but of course, you guys did excursion trip and many other activities. With such a budget that you had, you can have a fine dining experience at Gordon Ramsay Bar and Grill in the Sunway Resort Hotel not far from KL. With a meticulous and itinerary planning, you guys can have it all in KL. 😀

Near Genting Highlands is another attraction, the Tropical Colmar Village inspired by the Colmar Village in France, at Bukit Tinggi. If KL is too hot, you can visit Cameron Highlands with tea plantations, about few hours from KL. If you like the themed park, there are so many others in Malaysia like the Sunway Lagoon not far from KL, the Lego World near Johor Baru which is few hours from KL, the Tambun Lost World near Ipoh, the Escape in Penang which has the longest slide ride in the world, both also few hours from KL. And don't forget, there are many free attractions and low entrance fee like the parks, gardens, national mosque, national museum (very small fee), national library, national gallery, national monument, national zoo and attractions with affordable entrance fee in KL like the rooftop bars, the eco canopy walk, the bird park, the butterfly park. Penang and Melaka could be a good getaway from KL. And if you like wildlife, then head to the Malaysian side of Borneo. With your budget, you can have a luxurious trips everywhere you go in Malaysia. 😀

@@Life-With-TimThank you too for your wonderful video. Although KL is very affordable and have big value for your money, do make every single Ringgit worth spending around Malaysia. 😀

@@Life-With-Tim Wonderful. I'm looking forward to watching your next video. Judging from your budget, you guys can either shop or eat anything at the latest luxurious mall in KL called Exchange Mall at TRX, with a beautiful rooftop garden. KL and Malaysia have lots to offer especially when you have a high end budget. 😀

Agreed but it’s “cheap” relative to what I got, let’s use value instead

If you stay one month it is more accurate. If you convert usd to ringgit it is of course value for money

    Oh My God!
    Malaysian here.
You spent money like water. Thats not affordable. Thats like living luxuriously. Spending over 100 Ringgit for breakfast is crazy.
Nothing you did is called cheap or affordable.
Anyway, life is to be lived and enjoyed. I understand your take. Happy stay in Malaysia.

You must compare the price with other cities (London, NYC, Singapore etc). The whole point is to show how much value your dollar gets you in KL.
