Beauty of Ladakhi wedding culture is Sgo-Lhu Chang -Lhu, yang gugs, phok, kalchor, now introduction of werstern culture such as cake cutting spoils that beauty.
Yep that's true, m also agree with you. We have to go through our history culture and traditions and must follow it .we have to recollect our previous culture and save it from vanishing .
Plz help me for my child project 🙏, plz tell me 4 spice name in ladakhi language and how to write those names in Ladakhi language, its very urgent . Thank you 🙏
Well, really complicated so far, I mean the rites, but the communal sense is really out of words. And, yes, as I have viewed Becoming Woman in Zanskar, a great documentary film by a foreigner, it's almost the opposite here, the groom being the one to part from his family, and the weeping and lamenting expressed by his family members. In the film, however, every melodramatic part is depicted by the bridal side. And, here, the bride's roles are so limited. Can it be that you have taken more focus on the groom, for he is a relative of yours? Whatever, it's so learning and interesting and communal. I was much impressed by the elderly one in a stocking hat, the one in charge of keeping a clean invoice of things gifted or presented for the couple's housekeeping, from the groom's family side, I think. Yes, I was much impressed by his cursive Tibetan handwriting, his pedantic doings and being askance when doing it. By and large, I can see we are in the same boat, namely being bound by the same fate and tastes and cultural values, despite my indifference to such pedantic rites. Thank you once again, Padma la. You may wonder why I take such interest in Ladhak. It's that one of my best friends is Ladhaki, a great man but from Zanskar. Whoop, my prayers for their happy married life ever.
Ohhhh really means a lot lyyy😊🙏. So I want to say one thing that ,in Ladakh mostly girls apart from their parents after their marriage but in case of this video, acho lyy is parting from his family ,it's very rare in ladakh but if a family does not have a son in her family then boy have to leave her home for her bride. And yeh I also want to say thanks a lot for showing much interest in my video.Thank you so much for always appreciating me ,😊🙏

Cake cutting is not a part of our culture I think it ruins our traditional way
Please stop putting money garlands ,it's not our tradition give money in an envelope n put khadaks around the neck.
Yess that's true,we are copying hindu tradition of haar and western tradition of cutting cake, our own tradition is vanishing slowly 😔
