Neither are better than the other. Perhaps a match between Kirby and Waddle Dee could settle the score.
Luigi's Side B let's him imbed himself in a wall, giving him more verticality.
As such, Luigi does barely edge out his brother in a few more challenges.
The unfair part about Luigi is that he has a bigger hitbox than mario

Luigi definitely seems to have the upper-hand when it comes to movement.
Differences between Mario and Luigi...
1. The color.
2. Mario can't win by doing nothing, but Luigi can.
3. Mario's princess always being kidnapped multiple times, meanwhile Luigi's princess can defend herself (and Luigi) from her kidnappers.
4. Mario's rival has a series and games, Luigi's "rival" was a living meme.
Sorry, but "Luigi wins by doing nothing" is stupid and not an actual thing in Mario canon.

It depends on whichever challenges they got to participate in. In mobility, Luigi wins. In power, Mario wins. Those two each for example.
Two things about Luigi piss me off to no end: how slow his airspeed is, and the fact he can't wall jump. I'd be happy if he at least had the worst wall jump in the game.
Luigi can do challenge 16 he just need to use his Up B because it changes his hitbox making him able to go through without taking damage
Luigi practically cheeses the horizontal related challenges because of the misfire

Isn't suppose Mario gets strength and endurance and Luigi speed and agility 🤔
Well in smash bros, Mario is heavier so he has more durability and Luigi jumps higher so there is agility. Strength and speed are what don’t make sense however. While still keeping some of Luigi’s funny kill moves, his other attacks should do less damage and he needs to be faster than Mario. While smash bros kept some of Mario and Luigi’s traits that are in the games, but these are just the main two traits they got wrong.

No problem 👍, you’re right. Mario should be strength and Luigi is speed. But in smash for some reason, Luigi is slower while Mario actually has a hard time killing.
Luigi saying Let's go instead of Let's a-go is just wrong.
