Since this was done over 3 years ago, not sure you will see this or not. But I love how you teach and speak clearly. This project is so beautiful. I have watched your tutorials before. Thank you for taking the time to do them for us. I have been crocheting since I was 10 years old, and that was many decades ago now, so nice to learn something new.
Realmente lo felicito, soy tejedora de crochet, para mí es como meditar, porque me transporta...es hermoso lo que hizo, lo haré lo saludo desde Buenos Aires, Argentina ❤
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this very informative tutorial. I'm new to crocheting and have found your instructions to be much clearer and easier to follow than a lot of the other crochet videos on youtube.😊 Looking forward to seeing more!
I’ve been trying to make a mandala wall hanging for months and haven’t been able to figure out a single pattern past round 4... you made it so easy, I can’t wait to make my next one!
I felt in love with pattern and decided to use it for a top so had to be completely flat. No bulcking at all. Not sure if the thickness of the yarn had a serious influence, but after few rounds it was far away from flat. After 2 attempts I decided to make few changes, less double crochet in one line. Very happy with the results. This mandala is absolutely gorgeous, going to do few more 😍
Mikey - Greetings from New Delhi! This tutorial is awesome as the doily is fabulous.....a must do for me!! Am going to crochet this first and then I have selected three Afghans fro your tutorials - from easy to more complex....will keep you posted. Thank you.....
Absolutely gorgeous. The small hook size and thin crochet thread would probably be too difficult for my arthritic hands. If this were a perfect world, I would make this doily.
You could make this with thicker yarn, just choose the hook size recommended for the yarn. The finished article will be bigger that’s all. I’ve done it many times and it’s never been a problem.
Hai, i have been following yr tutorials n i just l just luv it n its easy to follow, i have a request ,can you give a tutorials n patterns on Mochilla n wayuu bags, its so beautifull, n i can't tq enough for yr simple explaination, tq once again
Hi Mikey, thank you for the excellent tutorial. My daughter-in-law loved the pattern and asked me if I could make a wall hanging with this pattern. If I’m to use the suggested hook for medium Worsted yarn, will the work buckle? Do not want to start the project and abandon it halfway. Thank you
Hello, I was wondering if you could teach us an afghan pattern called "vision in black" by Anne Halliday in the Leisure Arts book #3379 titled "Afghans by the Alphabet." It's such a gorgeous afghan but I've struggled and been unable to figure out the pattern on my own. It's done with a multi varigated yarn and black and comes out as a beautiful checker board pattern. Just Stunning!
Hi, in round 11, the written pattern says 5dc in each ch3 space with no ch2 in between. In the video you have 5dc and ch2 before you go into the next space. Which should I follow? Thanks
Follow the pattern if you are cross comparing. The pattern is the key element. Sometimes I improvise based on my own experiences but if you can read the pattern, just use the instructions on the pattern.

Mikey, you are awesome. I cant keep up with you! Do you keep all your projects? If so your going to need a bigger house. Lol

It's hard to know unless you try. I cannot say it won't without doing that first hand to try it.
Hi any ideas how to extend this pattern ? 🤔
Danke from Germany, thanks

That's a paid pattern. I cannot teach paid patterns and I have no affiliation with LA to be able to make an exception. I'm sorry.
I've started this 3 times & it buckles all 3 times. It doesn't lie flat. I'm following it exactly. I'm not sure what's wrong...
If you have done a gauge check and it's still buckling, I'm unsure what to suggest.
love it
Omg that’s nice
Beautiful!
By any chance do you have the Bird of Paradise pattern?
It is a favourite of mine!
Thank you!
Did you find it?
You're so fun.

I know this was posted years ago, but I also had an extra stitch on round 7, so I don't think it's you, lol!
Great tutorial! Do you think this could be done as a rectangle?
Belíssimo trabalho👏👏👏
Thank you so much Simone.
Es una lastima xq no se ablar inglés soy de Arjentina está ermoso para aser un mantel como tengo una redonda 👍💚
Is it possible to do this in a solid color? Would continuing the rows work?
Yes. Would look nice too.
