- In chapter 51 of Jeremiah we see how God sends a wind of judgment against Babylon carrying his revenge. We see God's power defeating the empty idols of Babylon.

Not an easy chapter at all. Arduous yet pertinent and relevant to where we live today. Amen and thank you, David. God is gracious, a way of escape - available to all, yet will all take advantage? Friend, put your trust in Jesus today. Believe in Him, on Him for the redemption of all the wrongs you have done in your life. Start anew today, pull your friends out of what is sure to be full fiery destruction, just as it were to all nations and all those who shake their fists and yell and rebel at God.
Watching this on Christmas day in Malaysia. Daily bible study goes on, despite the celebrations!!

I've always believed that God judges but always heard HE does not. Thank you so much for this. And for your Abe Lincoln & Civil War explanations! I came here for explanation of Jer 51:63 and got so much more
37:20 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." --- you can be baptized in the name of another jesus (twisted gospel) and care less about truth but more about having a good name. chrestus means good (of quality so to speak, excellent) in greek, by the way. babylon sought to make herself a good name and cared less about truth but more about propaganda. Babylon was rome at the time of John. Babylon is a city that's atop of 7 kingdoms that have risen throughout time. Rome was one of those kingdoms. Babylon is more of an economic power although it's a military power as well today.

Great teaching. The judgement application of this chapter could be apply individually but also to all the countries that fit this Sinful pattern of Greed , Corruption and immorality. How much more will God tolerate The United States of America.?
This is speaking of America, America is the daughter of Babylon. Zechariah 5 shows the statue of liberty traveling to her final pedestal in NYC, the big apple, where the ONE world trade center and United Nations headquarters are located with the cube of Saturn or star of remphan in their prayer room. 8 heads on the beast, America is the final one.
Hypersonic missiles from all the nations will be America's downfall, as Sodom, she will be overthrown in a single hour

Jeremiah 50 and 51 are also speaking of revelation 17 and 18. Her destruction hasn't happened yet because America is the end times Babylon. Russia, China, and an assembly of nations to the north are going to lay her desolate. In one hour, in one day, hypersonic missiles will destroy it all.
