Welcome to stunted growth where he talks about the stunted process of the player whereas if thing’s went in a different way the player talked about could have been a better player than the one who left the game
@thesweatterminator Him getting to the NBA was so unlikely in the first place. Him playing a decade was something completely else. I don't see what could have gone better.
Kevin Martin next? The skinny 6’7 quick sg scorer that played in Sacramento and Houston alongside Aaron Brooks. He was underrated but I felt like his career should have been better. I always love how in depth you get.
@@wl6020you can throw those test off by standing on your toes. Which is a reason the nba doesn't show coverage of the height measurements Live during the NBA combine week.
Drafting lowry was the sign of the end for brooks. Then kyle started dropping near triple doubles every game was just affirmation of managements decision to replace him. Unfortunate for brooks but at least he got to play for a decade in the NBA and a MIP? I say a career well spent.
When I saw him at Franklin High School, he was definitely one of the most hardest working players I ever saw on the court...you should do Martell Webster too.
@@fnc37 I thought he had done one on Quinn but when you search his channel it doesn't come up. I never recall him doing one on Frank Mason. When I search his channel no video comes up for him either.
Yeah, like others have said, I don't see his growth really being stunted at all. It's not like he was a top 5 pick...He got drafted at the end of the first round, was undersized and still played ten years in the NBA, being a starter for a good chunk of that time. He also averaged about double figures for his career which is definitely nothing to sneeze at. Not everyone is going to be a star....Some are built to have careers like he did. He's definitely more of a success story to me vs. stunted growth, especially given how many players don't even make the league, or wash out after not even finishing a rookie deal.
Bruhhh this is not a stunted growth. Just because your a fan of player personaly and didnt live up to whatever expectations you had for them doesn't mean they underachieved at all.
Honestly he got injured at the wrong time. His stunted growth became Kyles growth spurt. It’s one of those unfortunate situations where the next man up situation becomes a detriment to the player before. The rockets was exactly the right team for his skill set, but in other teams he was just looked at as a good backup.
Aaron Brooks shot a Half Court shot and Manu Ginobili with a dirty move placed his foot underneath Aaron landing spot. Aaron twisted his ankle and hasn't been the same since. Manu ended his Aaron Brooks Career as a High Scorer.
One of my favorite college players ever. He was cold in Oregon to the point he started to look like the logo in a way. Oregon is Aaron Brooks. Cold
Jared jeffries should be next
@@henrysoil9320agreed
Can you do Courtney Alexander and or Miles Simon
10yrs in the NBA I’m not really sure how working hard to achieve your dream and becoming a millionaire in the process is a stunted growth 🤔
The host has run out of ideas
I played against him when he was in college. He's legitimately 5'7". He played in the NBA for a decade. I don't know what could have gone better
I thought he was 6’0” 🤦♀️
Aaron brooks= Brandon Jennings = buckets
Big facts

A. Brooks was a beast.....ups and downs but always a fan favorite
He had a solid career in my opinion I never pictured him as a superstar
Kevin Martin next? The skinny 6’7 quick sg scorer that played in Sacramento and Houston alongside Aaron Brooks. He was underrated but I felt like his career should have been better. I always love how in depth you get.
Played pickup with him in Alabama one summer. Dude was cold af, but he was nowhere near 6'0". Im barely 5'9" and we were damn near the same height.
He was measured at 5'10.5 at the combine barefoot
I played against him too. He's 5'8" max, a buck 40 soaking wet.

Aaron brooks is a 2k legend

Houston didn't draft Lowry they traded for him
AB! One of my favorite rockets of all time… still remember how he helped us reach the 2nd round and take kobe and the lakers to 7 games
Wouldve won that series if Yao didnt go down. Artest had bum ankle too. So many injuries
@@Miltonman100 thats crazy how we took that laker team full of legends to 7 games… one of my favorite rockets memories
This dude was must-see TV @ Oregon!
When I saw him at Franklin High School, he was definitely one of the most hardest working players I ever saw on the court...you should do Martell Webster too.
Loved AB here in Houston
He played 10 years in NBA, he is a winner jc 😊
We need a Stunted Growth on Kareem Reid, Frank Mason III, Quinn Cook, Derrick Chievous, Mark Macon and Mouse McFadden
He did one on Frank Mason III and Quinn Cook already
@@fnc37 I thought he had done one on Quinn but when you search his channel it doesn't come up. I never recall him doing one on Frank Mason. When I search his channel no video comes up for him either.
Randy Foye
@@buzzerbeater3350 Damn he might have had to take it down or private it
Loved and enjoyed Brooks' game. Watched him a lot in the NCAA and NBA.
looked him up the other day i still remember the season he averaged 19ppg thought he was gonna breakout that season
This man and Tajuan Porter were a deadly backcourt at Oregon.
Another Seattle basketball legend...
Up next , “The Durant Stopper”, Devin Ebanks
Loved watching AB at Oregon man
Used to play him in Houston, Pearland ! Dude was still good after he was retired!!! AB
Was he really short
@@geraldbatum3787 he’s tall as me at least I’m 6 0 he just look short if on TV!
Idk if this is really a great stunted growth example.
IMO for his skill set and size Brooks had a great career.
Brooks in the 09 playoffs against the Lakers was different
Sindarius Thornwell. Would like to see a video on him.
I'll never forget Aaron Brooks leading the Rockets to a surprising 17 game win streak
Try 22 games
@@Monsterr713 I stand corrected thank you
Finally I been waiting on this one!!!
My guy🔥
Bro i remember first seeing him at oregon and thinking damn slim short af but he working theyazz😂😂
Why Manu trying to take a charge on a last second half court shot 😒
I saw the title and I expected this to be about Aaron Brooks the QB. I forgot about Aaron Brooks the basketball player lol.
Another great episode!!! I always liked him! I thought he went over seas and stayed. Thanx for your work!🙏🏼😎👍🏽

I used to call him 'The little WESTINDIAN'. Son could BOOGIE.
This is good one
I got buckets with him on nba live and 2k. He cold
Chris Smoove legend
In my opinion after he suffered that ankle injury vs the spurs as a rocket, he wasn’t quite the same.
Let’s get a Joe Alexander video! Lottery pick out of wvu, never did anything with the bucks
that's a REALLY good one...He was a pogo stick at WVU and he was just doodoo as a pro
Al Farouq Aminu who was taken ahead of both Gordon Hayward and Paul George would also be interesting.
Do Randy Foye!!
Dawayne Rodgers and Joshua Morrow
Bulls legend! Coined the lil man with big man moves by Bulls announcer Stacy King
A.B. great choice
He could play
He is measured at 5'10.5 in the combine. Too small as a starting pg, still small as a backup pg.
The rockets ran through some great point guards 🫡 A. Brooks, you'll always be a legend to the Rockets fan base.
Can you do Miles Simon g?
He was tough
He was a bucket
Gotta do Kent Bazemore too broski
I met Aaron Brooks on a shuttle bus en route to an airport terminal in Dallas back in 2016. I'll just say, he wasn't in a good mood to talk to. lol
He don’t know you goofy!
Probably he was tired

I’m not gonna lie this might be the worst stunted growth video I’ve seen. It’s aaron brooks he did what was expected
Jordan has absolutely nothing on Kyrie he couldn't even handle Rod Strickland
Does anyone remember Chrive Smoove always crossing Brooks over in 2K?
He had a solid career tho
Man you did a great job on this one💪🏾💪🏾. I remember being a fan of brooks cause of that mcdonalds games.
Speedy Claxton
