This songs power is to hitt feels... still geting goosebumps, no matter how many times I listen to it . When I first heard this song, I knew, I have to get my hands on their ERROR album, and so I did !!! This is a song about someone trapped in their own pain, constantly feeling abandoned. They try to find answers but keep falling into the same despair. In the end, they accept that this suffering is their fate, unable to escape the cycle of their own making. ⚡Viva The WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA/PauFan🤘😎🤘.
Amazing song in any language the OMV is beautifully done. I love them singing in Spanish it sounds so beautiful to me. The Guitar work is incredible Dany kills live her belt at the end gives me chills every time I hear it. These ladies always deliver fire live this show is a great example of how this anthem will be echoing through arenas and stadiums used to setup the encores in all their future shows just an excellent song. Great reaction thank you. 🔥⚡⚡⚡
MARTIRIO is my favorite song. Dany's vocals and playing are remarkable (her final belt-wail is epic), Pau's drumming is incredible, and Ale's Bass shows her being a world-class Jazz Bassist playing Rock as she switches between gorgeous ands incredibly powerful Melody lines and Bass lines seamlessly. The imagery/ lyrics are breathtakingly haunting and gorgeous. Yes; Pau was ill, so were Ale and Dany; so ill there was serious talk of of cancelling the concert but Dany, Pau, and Ale said absolutely not, they were going the give the the best show ever to 8000 fans (so they took a ton a medicine, including shots of steroids) and Dany, Pau and Ale gave the best concert ever.
Knew you'd like that one! I think it's probably my joint favourite TW song with '23'. Speaking of, if you haven't checked out '23' yet (Paulina's power drum ballad) then you should put that next on your list. I personally think the Teatro Metropolitian concert version is the best just because Pau's voice wasn't 100% at the Pepsi Centre show.
actually the 3 had the Flu, Dany and Ale were just coming out of it but Pau still had it. they can be 75% healthy and still give 200% on every performance.
Absolutely Love love love this song!!! Not a Spanish speaker but can absolutely sing along with this one!! Thanks Ladies, I am learning!! Just another freaking Anthem for the girls...as many have already said...they do not write or perform a bad song...ever!! This kind of talent is something we have needed for a very long time in the Rock world! Viva Mexico and Viva the Villarreal Sisters! You Rock my world after many decades waiting for you. Great Reaction K-Ross, you get it.
Resonance. Their music doesn’t just hit your ears, it moves through you. It connects with you deeply and becomes an emotional experience as it reverberates deeply within. It’s what they do. It’s what Martirio does, every time I hear it.
If ever there was a stadium anthem in the making, this surely is it. You don't need to speak Spanish to sing along at the top of your lungs. Everyone can join in on this one.
It's my favorite live performance of theirs. The whole Pepsi Center show is brilliantly shot and recorded . . . and what a crowd! They added so much. Thanks for the dual reaction.
Martirio is my favorite, not sure how to describe it except it fills me with a sort of reverence. FYI: The Warning just released the entire Pepsi Center concert (1 hr, 48 minutes long) this morning. It is absolutely fantastic, includes all the segways between songs. As a body of work, it is their best!
This is my favorite The Warning song. Ale's bass lines are nothing short of spectacular. Pau's drum performance is top tier as usual. Dany's emotional vocals and guitar really drew me in. I just wish I knew Spanish.
You're not alone. I love their native material as much, if not more than the English material. It is such a beautiful language, and so pleasing to the ear. Fortunately for me, I have lived in California for the last 38 years and have learned enough Spanish through friends and the culture to get by. Not fluent, yet, but working on it. Like you, this song is a favorite for sure.
I think that this is also my favorite The Warning song in Spanish, so much emotion in there, followed by Narcisista which is very fun. The last one, Qué Más Quieres, has a fun MV, co-directed by Pau which also originated the idea behind it (but I like the song less than the other ones).
Beautiful OMV. They filmed it at a remote location NW of their home in Monterrey. They needed to drive a little bit off road to reach it. A person that flies ultralight aircraft found the exact location. It took him a little while. The ring of burnt sticks and rock that Dany stands in was still there completely untouched after 2 years. Pretty cool. It was an unpleasant day with wasps and the wind.
Absolutely insane how they keep writing and crafting masterpieces. I do not speak a word of Spanish, well, maybe a couple of words, but this has been my favorite song for a while. They are amazing at a minimum.
This awesome song is a rock anthem!! Absolutely EPIC live performance! Imagine a whole stadium singing the chorus at the end of this song! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
This is my favorite song in spanish from them by far,the energy, the feeling, the lyrics, the passion, Dani's yelling at the end, the solo emphasising them and closing so round, it's beautiful, ité perfect, I don't know if they will do any spanish song as good like this one, I love them
Great reaction! With this song, you are justified in ranking it #1! For a song to give me chills and mkje me tear up, without me being able to understand no more than one word, "manos," which means "hands," it has to have EVERYTHING else a song needs. You are correct in one of those necessary things being atmosphere. But at the end? When Dany belts out her part in the whoas? That's the clincher for me, followed by her song ending guitar outro that just sends the chills up all of my limbs. Knowing the title and hearing the song is enough. No translation needed. Again, nice job.
You are not alone. This song is in my top 5 of all music ever. I do not understand a word of Spanish, but I love, love, love this song. Great reaction.
Super reaction! MARTIRIO -- an Anthem, and Ale´s bass! The slow ones are just as good. Yes, the video is shot in Mexico, in the Icamole desert north of their hometown Monterrey. As for being sick - they ALL were just recovering from the flue and it was talk about cancelling this show
All their songs are awesome (ofc) but I have to say that their spanish songs tend to be very high on my list. There is just something about feel of those songs that hits just a little bit harder. As always, great reaction Ross and great song from The Warning!
Love your reaction to the song, it is very much a rock anthem!! As you know the girls are from Monterrey, which is in the State of Nuevo Leon. Nuevo Leon is a very arid state, the video was filmed in the desert close to Monterrey. So they didn´t have to go far to film the video. The next Spanish language song in this concert was Narcisista (narcissist in English) and it it the last song of the concert.
Gives me tingles. My problem with it is that it really, really could do to be another 15 seconds longer. They had got a fantastic chant going with Dany just getting into her stride....and it just stops. Still utterly epic!
Martirio is the song they traditionally close the main set with in their live shows. Often times, the crowd will keep the "ooh OOH ooh" part going until they come back out for the encore.
The last spanish song, Que Mas Quieres, has been nominated for a latin grammy. It has a fun OMV (co-directed by Pau!) but the only live is a sound only from their Times Square pop-up concert or an acoustic version they did.
The Warning has one more Spanish track, Qué Más Quieres, from their latest album Keep Me Fed. There aren’t many high-quality live videos yet, but there’s a live audio-only performance from New York available on The Warning’s UA-cam channel, along with a fantastic acoustic version on the WDHAFM UA-cam channel from WDHA’s Parking Lot Party. For the full experience, start with the official music video-it’s like a mini telenovela straight from Pau’s imagination, with her as the concept creator and co-director. There’s also a fascinating 20-minute behind-the-scenes video on its making. Qué Más Quieres is even nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Rock Song, which also means their mom, a co-writer, is nominated too!
I love your reaction to this song! To me that atmosphere you talk about is like an anthem. It pulls you in and never lets you go throughout the whole song. Even though I am not playing the song on an instrument it feels like I am there captivated by the whole sound and experience.
Ooooh and please do Queen of the Murder Scene (KILLER song, pun intended)! This is from their concept album of the same name. A lot to unpack in that song, all of it brilliant.
Yesssss Martirio and Narcisista, you're getting into my favourites now! '23', 'Dust to Dust' and 'Amour' probably round out my top 5. For Spanish songs, their only other one is 'Que Más Quieres'. It's a newer song so there's no good live video, but it has a great MV, conceived and directed by Pau.
I like the format of the MV and then the Live version. I think the issue others were bringing up was (if I'm remembering correctly) that you listed the Pepsi Center but the actual video was from the year before at Teatro Metropolitan.
Excellent reaction (as usual)! When this track first came out I felt that The Warning would never top this song/MV - A rock anthem of the highest order, with an unbelievable build to the climax! I believe the MV was filmed in the mountains surrounding Monterrey, and I remember this was a very difficult shoot for them with the wind and smoke really wearing everyone out. I first fell in love with this song way back in 2019 when they did a version with a slightly different middle part during the 2019 Museum Buenos Aires Argentina Eruca Sativa Trio Tour. Here's a link to the fancam: ua-cam.com/video/eTRVjqceHDE/v-deo.htmlsi=L7ZbI0JXpnwdx3jB Here's two clips of behind the scenes for the studio recording and making the music video: ua-cam.com/video/P4LgAZC_Tac/v-deo.htmlsi=eiGASVYCXC-xkQ7j ua-cam.com/video/Gz4GkCANq5Y/v-deo.htmlsi=DMlAJym9vnTpkHV- Enjoy!! (BTW - my current feeling is that some more recent performances by TW have managed to come pretty effin close to the majesty of Martirio - e.g. Hell You Call A Dream at The Pepsi Center, and Automatic Sun at Tecate P'al Norte Festival). ✌❤🔥
Pleeeease do Qué Mas Querés!! The MV is so fun, and the beat is so. damn. catchy!! (Sorry to keep spamming your channel with this request, I'm just so excited for you to hear it) 😂! ❤ your channel!
The feelings you experienced are not surprising. In a nutshell, the chorus says “Drown in your martyrdom. Surrender to it, it’s your destiny.” The last verse ends with “Say goodbye to your sad life you dumb martyr.” The ending vocals are a farewell chant to the dying martyr and Dany’s belt is a final death cry! Try hearing it again without getting the chills!
The guitar solos and vocal cries at the end make a powerful emotional punch. They tend to do me in. Qué Más Quieres is the next (and only other) song they've done in Spanish. There's an OMV that Pau codirected with their videographer Iban Chabes. I've not found an official The Warning live video, but there is a live audio. ua-cam.com/video/1lfb-280MhU/v-deo.html OMV. I don't think it's giving too much away to say it helps to know your Italian mob movies. ua-cam.com/video/F5FJXL-70gc/v-deo.html Official Audio, Live from NYC
I like the Metropolitan version as well. Dany, in my opinion, is a bit more passionate singing it there. Perhaps she is just in better control of her voice here, after a year of vocal coach. Check your "stable volume" in the settings. Turn it on or off can make a difference. I dont speak a word of Spanish, but who cares. This song is amazing. The cadence grabs and holds you.
their best song IMO. you will have to do breathe live from the Pepsi center next. THERE ARE RULES. you MUST enable captions during pau's intro in Spanish at the beginning to get the context of the song. and also I wouldn't do your usual lyric video before, it's unnecessary and you want to have the first time be the real experience. it will stay with you for a long long time.

No biggie, just another absolute masterpiece by three young sisters with a love and passion for music ⚡️⚠️⚡️

The drumming in this song never gets a mention because everything else is so epic. Absolutely my favorite drum track on Error. Sublime!

I love how in this concert, when Dany has a solo Ale hangs close to Paulina. Giving Dany her time to shine.
This is my favorite video from the . Absolutely gorgeous. The song live is an incredible anthem filled with emotion! Filmed in northern Mexico.
Even with my very limited grasp of the Spanish language, this is one of my favorite The Warning songs!

The MV was shot in the desert near Monterey, Mexico, the Warnings home town.
My favorite live version its from Metropolitan 2022, its more emotional... the final its superb in this performance.
This is such an EPIC song! Love the soaring guitar solos in this and yes the drums are phenomenol (but so is the bass line!)...
thanl you, I have never seen this video, it was a treat...excellent...
Gives me tingles. My problem with it is that it really, really could do to be another 15 seconds longer. They had got a fantastic chant going with Dany just getting into her stride....and it just stops. Still utterly epic!
Martirio is a *gorgeous* track :)
They shot that in the desert in Mexico, not all that far away from where they live in Monterrey.
This is my favorite song as well and I don't understand one word🤣 but I know how much this song means to them & their country
Martirio is the song they traditionally close the main set with in their live shows. Often times, the crowd will keep the "ooh OOH ooh" part going until they come back out for the encore.
Well certainly it has to be Que Mas Quieres next then right? :P

9-3.
