the last line in the second decision table for "Night" doesn't work well in the current version, if you could please check and reply here. Once I removed that part, it worked fine. Further more I am not sure how to check logs of failures in the community edition as just task doesn't start, it just freezes there. Please help on this two points.
It works fine for me in version 7.11. Only the UI has changed a bit. Deploy button is missing as of today on camunda BPM / v7.11.0 shown at ua-cam.com/video/T8dWMFSMJNE/v-deo.html apparently "Deploy" button is only visible in the enterprise version. There is a REST based API call to programmatically deploy though: docs.camunda.org/manual/7.7/reference/rest/deployment/post-deployment/
You're correct the deploy button in cockpit is only available as part of the EE version, but free open source camunda modeler also has a deploy button that lets you deploy directly from there!

I don't think the space matters, you can choose to add it or not.

I believe you would use a gateway to route based on decision output(s) and label your sequence flows out of the gateway with the desired output(s)
The "Map Decisions Result" property on the business rule task allows to select resultList or collectEntries...
