As always I am eternally grateful for these video clips. I was only a month old when this video was taken and noticed B&M 690 at 1:57. Who'd have thought that 19 years later I'd capture the same locomotive on the point of train coming into the yard on the same track in November 2008? Thanks for uploading this-it is neat to see East Deerfield during that time and the SD26s still in service. Absolutely priceless video...
Hi Craig ; I sure remember this day there was some 35+ units in the yard also the thug vandalism those cars at (3:40) East Deerfield was always worth the trip back then !
Judging by the content most of those if not all of those cars in consist came from bingo via exchange with conrail. Telephone poles run via bingo north to Mohawk via mcv into Deerfield

Those shots of the damaged cars tell the story of why the enclosed autorack was developed.
