Can I ask what the liquid u used in that clear bottle was on the tops of each cake layer? Also when making this cake did you put it in the fridge before decorating and cutting?
Hi. The cake flavor was vanilla tres leches. The cake was soaked with a combination of sweetened condensed milk, whole milk and heavy cream. After carving and crumb-coating, cake was chilled first. This is to make it firm enough to embossed the cloth pattern onto the fondant. Altho we had to work fast since cake started to become sticky because of condensation. That is the downside to living in a tropical country 😊
