Now, that THIRD hook with the hook facing downward is a GREAT idea for mounting your cell phone on the wall. Most videos I see only have the two hooks BELOW the cell phone, allowing the phone to tilt forward. The way shown here is much more secure.

The hooks loose stickiness and keep falling down wherever temperatures vary or the surfaces are uneven or shiny smooth. Especially in cars. Good for holding very lightweight items only.

Exactly. Best not to bother in hot cars, sunny window areas and warm weather places. But I use them where appropriate.

Полностью поддерживаю. Не держаться эти крючки. Надо клеем приклеивать

But those self adhesive hooks ALWAYS fail eventually :(
That is why after they fall, but if I still want the hooks back on, I will glue them back on. Right now, a handy bottle of wood glue seems to be doing well.

They are supposed to cure for 24 hours after you put them up and before you use them.
As a rule of thumb, the Command hangers are not made to be used on wood or blue board/horse hair walls. Also many cannot be used on painted walls or wallpapered walls. Many are only good for porcelain, tiles, ceramic etc. You might want to read the individual packages to see what it can be used on as well as the weight limitations of what is being hung. Many stores now have hundreds of different styles of these hangers. A couple of years ago I found a use in the bathroom. My mother wanted a paper towel dispenser in the bathroom but I could not find any dispensers that didn't have to be drilled into a wall or cabinet. I went to the grocery store and bought one of those old-fashioned $2 paper towel dispensers. I bought a set of two Command hooks, lined them up in the right position, and then hung the paper towel dispenser on these hooks. Just need to make sure that the Command hooks are the right size to accommodate the paper towel dispenser. Works great! After a couple of years the hooks probably need to be replaced but for less than five bucks who cares.

I think the manufacturers took planned obsolescence a bit too far by making double sided sticky tape with weak gum
Solution: just use a strong glue. Check at a local hardware store . Just tell them you need a glue to fix plastic to ceramic.. or plastic to wood .. or plastic to plastic
They'll have glues for any job. Trust me 🌿
Don't rely on marketers or advertisers for knowledge, just talk to hardware stores, carpenters etc they'll tell you practical ways of solving problems
Woodglue seems to be working well for me.
Did you let them cure for 24 hours before you hung anything on them?
i mostly made the expierience, that it is better to remove the delivered glue and replace it with cyanic glue but these ideas where awesome thanks mr. thaitrick that was impressing and inspiring sir :-)

Those are adhesive hooks, but they aren't 'Command Hooks' (which are the kind that have a special adhesive that makes them easier to remove without damaging the wall).

The bigger hooks (like those in this video) can be used to hang small wall hangings. I put up two hooks, put a curtain rod through the sleeve that’s usually on the back, if it’s a quilt (or you could add one to a piece of artwork), and hang the rod on the hooks.
It will eventually dry up and everything will fall......how do I know.....from Experience!!!
@@aircando since it’s not really exposed to the air, how long does it take for the adhesive to dry up?
@@HeronCoyote1234 It only took 3 months and the hooks were just holding straw summer garden hats! These hooks are ok for temporary usage but not permanent! If one rents maybe they don't want holes in the walls. If it's your own home, then you'll definitely put something more permanent and stop wasting your money on 'plastics'.
@@aircando I’ve found the solid plastic bar type hooks don’t last as long, unless they’re the ones specifically for the bathroom. Stronger adhesive, maybe?
