Last year I got out of a cruel relationship, and this song acknowledges the grief that befell me after I was thrown away. I had just found Nate shortly after, which worked wonders for my healing experience. Entering that remix competition was what I needed to regain the confidence I had lost. Lyrics summed up a lot of what I went through, and I've been 8 months strong, reclaiming myself, my passions and my love for the world. Thank you XAELO as well, your pen has the power to heal.
