- It's finally August 20th which means Levy McGarden has been released as a DLC character! She is part of the Season Pass DLC, but you can also buy her DLC separately for 20 euro. Honestly, this price is way too much for a single character... Apparently the reasoning behind this is that she has some DLC outfits unlocked which for the base game characters cost 3,50 each. Still not worth that price though in my opinion, but you're in luck! Because in this video you can see all outfits / costumes, magic skills and her unison raid with Gajeel.

She's $20 seriously? They sure are going out of there way to make DLC expensive as hell. I seriously may pass on all DLC until something worthwhile comes if at all.

Always remember that Levy was eligible into becoming an S class wizard. Always ticked me off Mashima didn't utilize her properly
Wow, the game uses Levy far more than the anime ever did. This shows she could do a lot of interesting stuff with her magic that the anime never did, those are some cool looking attacks.
Yeah I was positively surprised at her skill set. Wish they showed more of in the manga/anime.
My favorite character in FT is Laki. Her wood make magic was really funny.
I think Fairy Tail has great characters and Magic but the show doesnt use them at the fullest potencial.

Haseo8 yeah she’s great! Always in my party just over a damage machine! Interested and cute Cinematics make her one of my favorite characters in a list of just Fun Characters, a good game that really snuck up on me. I didn’t think I’d line it so much!
Wow, Levy's magic is more explored in the game. than the actual story have her do. She's amazing. I wish they let her do a Unison Raid with Lucy as well.

Levy, and cana were both very underrated and underused in the anime, like this levy is amazing! Both their magics have very large ranges and they could easily be in the top strongest fairy girls

Unbelievable how she was shadowed by other characters. Solid script magic is op asf. One of my favorites. They really just didn’t show it off much in the anime/manga like they did in the game.
This is what Levy deserves! Im pretty sure effect's wise, shes one of the best on this game. Suck's that you have to pay 20$ to get her, she shouldve been base roster in the first place!

In Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest, she stopped Natsu by creating a wagon(?) under him and he got car sick as he rolls away. So, in a way, she uses her brain to stop a dragon slayer? lol😂😂😂

Ok now solid script is so versatile. She can also do protection with GUARD and projectiles with BULLET. This magic has so much potential and we're gonna waste it

She went from being a side character to a main character in the anime and manga. Its like she was well recieved and luved so the creator went fuck it I will give her more arcs XD!

Why the actual fuck is Levy waaaay stronger in the game than in the show??? Like where were literally any of these powerful moves and combos during the anime?!? Like Lucy can combine her spirits magic as we see in her fight with Flare so it makes sense Levy could do it too but we never see it!
This Levy actually makes me believe that she deserves to be a candidate for S-Class! I always thought Levy's magic could have been way better and super powerful with its variety amd this proves it! Levy deserved better!
P.S. Slash Typhoon was my favorite, the way she flips then writes the sword with her foot is cool and stylish.
Right! In the anime she ended up mostly being Gajeel's assistant. And while they're great together, she can really hold her own if she's given the chance. As you said her magic is useful for pretty much any situation so let's hope we see more of this in the future :D
Levy’s cool magic spells and unison raid with Gajeel never APPEAR IN MANGA OR ANIME, but then this game gave her a chance to shine , that might be fucking worth pennies to spend for

Thank you already for being able to show us the new characters then I knew that the girls of the guild like Levy, laki, lisana, kinana, bisca all have interesting and Badass powers. Too bad they are always put in the background. And when I know that Mashima still has not finished developing Lucy's powers I am at the same time pissed off about how he manages his characters which are very interesting .....

My favourite character from fairy tail. I always imagine how versatile her magic can be used. Create a HEAL solid script and heal. Or maybe a new kind of magic where she write FIRE on her/ally hands and do a fire punch etc. That'd be so cool
While Lucy has been the Spellcaster/Support role in the. Anime, Levy can use same role as a Spellcaster, her Magic os only limite to her imagination.

She have some pretty cool attacks. The iron part of attacks are a little lame but outside of that she is very cool

Her magic itself is a unison raid her magic is very strong and she's basically a genius as much as Lucy yet she's so underrated and her character development is weak I would've loved to see more of her in the anime and manga

Aw heck no. As soon as she was announced, I set aside the money. Levi has always been one of my fav FT characters. Shes cute and her magic is HEAVILY underutilized in the anime/mange. So to get to use her in the game was a godsend to me. I didnt watch it cause I wanna wait till I get to it, I did click the video to see if she did get the Unison Raid with Gajeel, which if she didnt, I was gonna be so upset lol.
Haha, she's actually really lucky to have received a Unison Raid and the 3 other DLC characters didn't get any :c I don't know if you've seen the other raids in the game, but she also appears in the Natsu x Lucy raid

Koei Tecmo prices looks greedy high lately check out doa6, final fantasy dissidia nt, now fairytail 20$ per char way to much, in dissidia nt it's almost 15$ per newer outfits and DOA got crazy prices everywhere.
Is there a point to these dlc's? I got platinum and i even awakened natsu,lucy,erza,gray, Wendy to +4 felt there's nothing else to do, I could've made everyone S and +4 in an hour or less but there's no point.
Not really, but if there's new content it'll be fun to play them. Hope the dungeon that drops on September 17th will provide some replayability
It's a shame the dlc is so overpriced in general cause I really love the game although they could have improved on some things it's good cheesy fun. The DLC will continue to be overpriced as long as ANYONE buys it unfortunately

They kind of enforce it lol, you don't even have the option to get Levy without those extra costumes. Apparently this is one of the reasons for the 20 euro/dollar price.
As much as I like Levy, that price is ridiculous. Hopefully there's a price drop in the future (probably not).
I’d say the season pass is worth it.
Gamingmaster looking at the season pass, I compare it to other anime games. Road to Boruto DLC has a new story with side quests, 9 characters, and a bunch of costumes for $27 USD, which is close to half of the base game. A season pass with 4 characters, a dungeon, and a few hard side quests for the price of the game isn’t worth in my opinion. That being said, the costumes are still separate, with each of them costing $40 USD. It just doesn’t feel right.
Magsushi Nerd yeah but since I wanted all the DLC excluding the costumes, it was cheaper to just get the season pass for me, I’m also hoping they don’t pull a destiny 2 and add more dlc that’s not included in the season pass just because it’s added a year later.
Gamingmaster I assume the prior costumes was apart of the 60 dollar season pass which made me think that why it so high . Til I realize it was separate and each character worth 20 bucks

Heya - there's actually an annoying thing in the game where the dragon mode character models won't show if you wear anything other than the default outfit. So if you swap back to that you should see the model again

I guess you're talking about the trophy to complete all requests? You also need to do each regular request once to get that, there's 10 of them for each guild rank (D, C, B, A & S)

@@jasspertv8868 And also all 8 10-year quests and 4 100-year quests? If there are no unique requests left on the board and all regular requests, 10-year quests & 100-year requests have a stamp with "completed" it needs to have unlocked. If not, I'm really not sure what the problem could be, sorry
Does the game include English as a language so i can read the options. I don't care of the voices aren't in English. I mainly want to be able to read what I'm doing like in tutorials

26$ for one character... that is almost 1/3 price of this whole game! Great job KOEI (not...)! Game is cool, anime is nice, but the way how greedy they are grabbing cash is just... *shrug*!
How to unlock her if I'm past chapter 3
First you need to buy and install the DLC. After that... not sure as I had already completed the story. After the grand magic games would make sense, but in the worst case it's after the epilogue chapter.
I wish I hadn't bought this game, I'm a Fairy Tail fan since day 1, first they dumped on all the people that bought the hard copy of the game no pre-order bonus costumes for you, and 2nd they bodged up the whole storyline and rushed it all as a whole that it was released with bugs crashing lack of content and voices, lack of things to do but repeated Quests that become tedious and a weak difficulty system that fails after level 50, you use lacrima crystal that will raise you to 99+99+99+99 well after 99+2 you become a God and your unstoppable even on hard mode, well ...... /sigh fuck

Hi, how did you activate unison raid? Can it only be activated by chance?
You can activate them by starting a magic combo chain while one of the characters uses awakening. To be safe I always awaken both characters that I want to use the unison raid with before starting the chain

If you buy the season pass it gives you all its contents regardless of when you buy it. Now I don't know if it disappears after september 17th, but I don't think so. As for the Deluxe edition - no idea unfortunately, but bear in mind that the Deluxe Edition does not include the season pass

Hiro Mashima was actually fully involved in the design and development of the game so credit here still goes to him. But definitely kudos to the developers for bringing it all to life in this way.
