It sounds kind of like a neck pickup, but when I've done it with the neck pickup it sounds too dark, I think its the bridge pickup with the tone pot rolled off, which I can't do in one take, nor would he have been able to do properly live :)

Pretty good, my major criticism would be the solos just after the chorus etc. They just sound a little thin and lacking emotion compared to the rest of the song to me.

It sounds like he has two separate recordings of that part layered, one on the neck and one on the bridge
