Join us on Day 11 of our epic 18 day trip around the US and Day 6 of our Las Vegas series. Today we visit Proper Eats Food Court in Aria and try Wexlers Deli and Egghead. We visit some of Caesars properties including Paris, Planet Hollywood and Horseshoe. We then spend the night gambling in the Cosmopolitan and visit Bardot Brasserie for a french dinner.

“That’s all she wrote” is said to originate from a “Dear John” letter an American GI received during WW2. He opens the letter and reads it aloud to his mates. He says, “Dear John.” The other guys says, “Go on. What else did she say?” The GI then says, “That’s it. That’s all she wrote.” Definitely an American expression that you picked up somewhere along the way during your travels.
FYI - A “Dear John” letter is a breakup letter. The GI was getting dumped by his girlfriend while he was overseas fighting in the war. Harsh!
You know what then that makes sense, I love watching movies and learning about WW2. Used to love listening to my grandparents stories from the war probably picked it up subconsciously from that!

The Croque Madam was the nicest thing we ordered, wasn’t a huge fan of the Pate Melt was the one thing that let the meal down.
