- Wettertechnisch ließ dieser Rodeltag nichts zu wünschen übrig. Nachdem wir den im Tal liegenden Hochnebel durchbrochen hatten erwartete uns bereits auf Höhe der Mittelstation strahlender Sonnenschein.
Die Rodelbahn selbst war bei guter Präparation und morgendlichen Temperaturen um die -3°C heute etwas langsam, was sich insbesondere in den Gleitpassagen bemerkbar machte.
Leider war die Schneeauflage im Bereich des letzten Kilometers der Rodelbahn eher dürftig, in Teilen braun gefärbt und mit Steinen versetzt. Das wurde gegen Mittag, insbesondere in den der Sonne ausgesetzten Teilen der Bahn nicht besser, so daß Mittags sogar der steinige Untergrund spürbar durch kam. Insgesamt also in diesem Streckenabschnitt keine guten Bedingungen für die empfindlichen Belagschienen und ein Armutszeugnis für eine Bahn die mit einem Rodelticket für aktuell 42.- Euro und ohne Halbtageskarte sicherlich zu den teureren Bahnen zählt. Für solch einen Preis hätte ich mir mehr Mühe bei der Pflege der Rodelbahn erwartet.

Do you have any trips planned for this season? I really enjoy your videos. I started sledding in Tyrol/South Tyrol about 4 years ago. I'm going out there for two weeks at the weekend. I can't wait.

This season I am not so lucky bekause my car broke down an now the weather even in higher regions is to warm. Hope to get my new car soon and that the weathe ist chaning again.

@Christian Fischer a couple of years ago, I sent a photo of one of the sleds that i have been making to your email. I never heard back. Perhaps I input the email address wrong. Anyhow, I made 2 sleds. They are carbon fiber exoskeleton and wood substrate in construction. My wife does leather work and fur work as well. I'm still waiting for her to make the seats. Anyhow, it's good to see your back.
