How different to my experiences. I’ve been to the top of the Eiffel Tower a few times. Last time was 1984, me and my girl were the only ones up there ! It was in Late March, a lighter tourist time, but still… . We also visited the Louvre, checked out the Mona Lisa, only a handful viewing with us. Madness nowadays. No booking for both then, just walk up.
