  • U.S. 101, headed south, May 18th, 2012. Headed to the Klamath river, where it meets the Pacific, to attempt to watch the annular eclipse of the Sun.
    I do not know the audio that I used 8 years ago, it was sourced here from UA-cam's video editor, and that no longer displays the track title. I apologize.

    I love crescent city. Lovely little town. To bad it’s in California. It deserves Oregon possession. Has a sad memory of a huge flood if I remember right. I spent a few months at a correctional boys ranch in gaskey ? ( spelling ? ) bar-o boys ranch. Was a beautiful setting in the redwoods.

      Well I was born here and moved idk when my mom doesn't like to talk about bad divorce anyway we hopped around until I was around 4 and settled in Brookings oregon then my mom's us cellular closed down in 2011 and we moved to crecent city with all the meth heads and depressed middle schoolers I'm in highschool now and everyone in the high school is nice but that's probably just because I'm 6' 300lbs of muscle 🤣 and every white guy here says the n word 50 times a day so tbh it wouldn't have been the worst but definitely not the best either

      I opened the video editor here on youtube, which is where I sourced the audio from, but the audio itself doesn't have a track name that I can see anymore. I'm not sure why though. I'm sorry.

    Why do some people say that Crescent City is a crappy place to live? How is the economy there?

    • @1rednecker
      @1rednecker 7 років тому +3

      Cause it is a crappy place to live! California in general is crappy! We have the highest taxes and it is cold all the time in Crescent City. They have taken our gun rights away (or in the process) and making it to where we (as gun owners) are forced to get background checks every single time we wanna buy ammo now...I hate this state, let alone this damn town! Everybody has their own opinions on this place. The thieves are outrageous here and they don't give a shit if they get caught! They get away with it here cause the law enforcement don't wanna do their jobs unless they "see" it for themselves! Unless of course they get their shit broke into, then they're all up on that shit!!! I belong in the country, not the city or a libtard place like this!

      CC is close enough to Oregon to buy ammo there. All the founding Liberals owned guns, and used them to secure this land against the British conservatives at the time. Liberals wrote the Bill of Rights, and all the rest of the founding documents. Don't hate on Liberalism because of the acts of a few, pretty much same as everything, like hating Christianity because of the acts of a few, etc, etc.

      Knuckle_Bump That town never recovered after all the lumber mills shut down in the late 80's. Seems like all my friends Dad's either worked in the woods or at a lumber yard. Also commercial fishing. But, I occasionally go back and it's just depressing. The beach is pretty awesome though. I can still swim pass the breakers :)

      Because it is a crappy place to live. The criminals get away with their crimes, and the economy sucks, rent is way to high even for a run down house, the job pay is low unless you work in health, law, or prison guard, social services, they abduct the poor's children because their town is so broke, they depend a lot on government funding to run it

    That's the ugliest town I have ever seen. They need to clean up their roads and buildings of all the garbage everywhere. There is other back roads in Crescent City that is much more beautiful than this like 199 to Cave Junction. I live here and wish I never moved back, it use to be a good place to raise your children but not no more. Gangs here now and the old drug addicts encourage our children to do drugs, drink, and be like them. It is a terrible place the cops refuse to protect people and they will do terrible things like murder you if you tell their secretes like me. My doctors have tried to murder me using my teeth and other medical issues for turning them in to the administrative/partnership. Plus this town abducted my children 20 yrs. ago for money because they make more money from the government keeping families apart than together. This town main income comes from government funding's

      Its a terrible town, get over it. The population is comprised of Pelican Bay inmates and their family members with a few unfortunate people who moved there without looking into the town and the people that reside there.
