I was a "street racer" when I was much younger, but we did it in an industrial part of town where there was no one around and usually after midnight. Not busting donuts in a busy intersection.
These are not "street racers." These people are part of the car community that does takeovers, where they take over intersections to do slide shows. They have legal track events so that people can do these stunts, but many of them are owned by money-hungry corporate people who overcharge. only way to solve this problem is for people to have a spot where they can do their stunts legally.
If they would have to do this (Thursday thru Sunday) every weekend, then maybe they would stop it. But one weekend every once in a while just to have a photo-opt isn't going to do anything.
Now you can see how easy it is to stop this behavior. All it takes is a few law enforcement agencies to actually work--not just sit on side of road waiting for moving violation revenue.
that's what happens when you have highways with speed limits. These speed racers need a place to vent off. You don't see that type of behavior in Croatia or Germany because the highways don't have speed limits. How can these young men with powerful cars can vent off when everything is so restricted? We need to address this issue by coming up with an alternative solution.
The same thing happens when you have a society with laws against murder, rape, and robbery...............are we to allow these activities to vent off? You may use my tractor to pull your head out of your ass.
@@keithfowler6876 true, but it's usually a pain to get to a track. Some of them want you to take a driving course that could costs around 600 dollars. Some of them they want you to be part of a club, and they do seasonal races. It's hard to join a racing club without paying extreme amount of money. There are some tracks that require just a fee, then you follow a pace car. Those type of tracks are very few and small.

We come from a smarter generation. Nowadays it's not about being low key, instead it's all about internet fame, attention, followers, etc
Same here and then we took it to the tracks for legal racing and Andretti parking lot for tray sliding instead burn outs
40 years ago we used to bake spalding dr. on our street bikes, by the time the cops showed up we were 2 counties over.
The young generation took over its not like how it was in the old days anymore

It's not even about internet fame these people just have no damn respect for anything or anyone.

Teach them a real lesson and crush the cars
I remember when Cali did that as a zero tolerance campaign back in the early 2000's
😂

Don't sell their cars, scrap them so you don't have a new street racer. You can buy track time you know.
Impounded Vehicles should be towed to the nearest scrap yard and crushed
Arrested dont mean shit... you got nothing on most of them. Being out at night aint a crime.
Auction off the cars
It probably wasn't even street racing. Most likely it was one of those pointless sideshows
All talk zero action
That was straight stupid they watching are every move, they track you through are phones 📸 on television poles
anyone on here remember that one Gwinnett riverside meet back in like 2010-2012 when a lifted truck jumped a curb and ran into someones car?

That's the dumbest comment I've ever fkn read. Ever heard of doing track days at a racetrack? Mr.Moron.

There's such a place already in existence, it's called a racetrack,

a highway without speed limit in the US? Bodies would be rolling in every day
Yoo, that corolla be racing while delivering pizza!
I see zero Race cars! Fake news!
They should go to jail for at least few years without bond.
That won't solve the issue though.
People gone really run from the police. Cause wrecks and more.
DOMINOS : WE DELIVER A 1/4 MILE AT A TIME🤣
Yes they found 5 hand guns in a state where it’s legal to conceal carry. So that statement is irrelevant
These are just wannabe drifters that aren’t good enough to try to actually compete in a event, definitely not street racers of any kind!
Fast n Furious Fun!
