In this video I will show you how to make an easy AFK fish farm in minecraft bedrock edition. With this farm you get Treassure and other good loot. This is the best fish xp farm there is right now. It works in 1.20 but does work in all other versions too. It works on Xbox, Ps4, Nintendo Switch, Pocket Edition, and Windows 10. This fish xp farm gets you tons of loot/treassure and fish.

You are the man! I tried everything to figure out what i was doing wrong. Not even sure maybe it was the trap doors on both sides of the chest instead of signs. The only change i made and it works now. 😅tysm❤

If you slap either a slab or an upside down stairs over the lava, you can ensure nobody will fall in, and bumping against it with your forehead puts you in the perfect spot to gather the XP~
Wouldn't that defeat the entire purpose of the lava? They didn't put a hole with lava on it for no reason

The lava is to make your hook let go of the catch before you reel it in, netting you the reward, but making the game think the catch was unsuccessful, therefore not using any durability on the rod, or skill on your part to reel it in at the exact right moment. Also, I think you're probably misunderstanding. You're not covering the lava up. Top slab, or upside down stairs....So that your FOREHEAD bumps against it, as I said. JCplays makes almost this exact same fish farm if you need a visual example of what I'm trying to say.

It works well! I got a few books, but no mending but thats fine. This still works with the latest version! (P.S. dont expect to be getting books right away, it takes time! I literally got 4 books in the past 3 hours lol)

Hey, this is my go to farm but i was wondering if you had any knowledge of the following mechanics, some tutorials say to keep it at least 5 blocks away from other water sources, im not sure if this is true, or if it only applies to java or what. And secondly, does putting a fish in one of the sources help rates at all? Ive heard some people say yes and some say no and idk at this point but still do it bc i dont want worse rates

Why is the minecart used? and if you fell into the lava would your stuff go into the chest or would it be burnt? Also how does the lava make your rod pull back before reeling in a fish?
Cart insures the items are picked up through the lava. And the line is pulled down before being pulled back to the player. If it hits something such as lava it automatically comes back to the player therefore getting both the fish and the line.
if you have armor and a sword or armor and a fishing pole or armor and 1 more of any item then no the lava won't burn them. however if you have more then 5 items the hopper will randomly choose 5 items to pick up and the rest will be burned (personal experience from a year or so ago)

This is not possible with any fishing method on the game as to receive an item the bobber has to retract, and thus must be re-deployed.
you can always try to make the "Java version" to afk on console (as that one uses the distance of the player and a trap door to throw out the rod) however I don't know if it will work on bedrock to be afkable

Try prowl's farm, if you have the materials it worksgood
yeah, you just need to spawn proof the ground with leaves and make sure the villagers home is only 2 blocks tall so golem can't spawn inside their home

no its not you need 20 villagers 15 need jobs and 10 need beds (Java needs 3 lazy villagers)

Yeah but it's very complex
@@Plumyboi no iys not just use half slabs on the ceiling not the floor and make the gap 1.5 blocks so only spiders can spawn (then use magma blocks for the center kiII chamber so they can't climb the walls)
Does the lure automatically return to you, or do you have to pull it back? It looks auto in the video. Also my lure floats to the top of the chest. Is that wrong?
The lure enchantment reduces the time for the rod to catch something
It's supposed to automatically return to you, I made a different version of this and its automatically coming back, that's why it's afkable

If your lure floats to the top, remove all the water and then replace the water last. This happened to me too because i placed the banner after the water

Auto clicker with a 14 sec delay so it's not super easy to set up but it works well enough

I was having the same problem before I realized I had placed a regular minecart instead of a minecart with hopper.

Rarely. More time efficient way to get mending would just to work with villagers, pro tip, fletchers are the best for emeralds (I’m sure u already know that)
@@kcck7588 actually I didn't! Sorry, I'm super new to Minecraft. Only recently hit level 36 for the first time. I finished my first iron farm 2 days ago and can finally make some rails. I think I need those to get villagers to a trading hall. So the fishing method might be "easier" for me currently haha
@@bradleyroth2125 honestly, if you can find a village and you have an iron farm already, just bring a lectern, a piston and a button with you. Place the piston down so that it will push the lectern and pop a button on it, wait for a villager to link to the job and then just hit the button to activate the piston every time to want to reset his trade until you get mending~ Do NOT trade with him until you have what you want. Trading with a villager will lock them to that particular set of wares. Takes a little time, but.....so does fishing. Lol
@@bradleyroth2125 what a coincidence 😂 I legit built this fish farm in less than 15 minutes, and I was at 29 levels and now I’m at 35ish. Id say it’s definitely worth building considering all the other books you get from it, not to mention levels and the farm being probably the easiest to build. Also, where did you find your iron farm tutorial? I built one last night, that took me 2 and half hours… come to find out it doesn’t even work

My loot doesn't get into the chest, in only gets into the hooper
1:27 watch this part carefully, connect the hopper to chest
You need to crouch when placing down the hooper in the same direction as in the video for it to work

yes and no, it works but you only get fish. if you want to get treasures you need to look up Ray Works *"easy AFK Fish Farm with Treasures Loot 1.20+ Minecraft"*

I’m getting xp but no loot in my chest, I’m not sure what I did wrong
the exp means that the item is being caught the no loot means the item is being burned (make sure you have the hopper with minecraft on top of the hopper properly) and make sure there's no rail under it

Try put an auto clicker and set it to click once every 3 seconds maybe
@@danielplayz3847 you need to auto clicker every 20-25 sec for a normal dishibg pole (you can reel fish in faster however the longest it takes is around 21 sec I think) where if you have a luck of the sea 3 lure 3 pole you want to set an auto clicker to 14 seconds (as it seems the max it takes is 13 sec to get an item)

The loot ends up in the chest if done correctly, the lava makes sure your rod doesn't lose durability when fishing.

I use OP Auto Clicker. If you have lure 3 set it to 13 seconds

AFK... AWAY from keyboard. This is not AFK. It saves you half the button presses is all. I get its the best we can get on bedrock but why lead people on making them think it's afk? Used to be able to cheese it with an auto clicker on the ps remote play app, but the ps app no longer allows autoclicker usage. As far as I can see there are no truly afk fish farms for bedrock on console.
YOU COULD JUST PUT A AUTOCLICKER TO PRESSS LIKE EVERY FEW seconds it wont be as efficient but it will be afk

Remove the lava and everything will work
Place the chests under the hopper instead of to the side

It's AFK-able for either phones or pcs with auto clickers (not for console) as you reel in automatically so you just need to set an auto clicker to fish
