You have to listen to this song in the context of the whole album to really appreciate it. Scenes from a Memory is an amazing piece of work, and certainly one of my favourite albums. I strongly recommend anyone who is unaware of this album to go an listen to it from start to finish. I won't spoil anything, but it an amazing, deep story to tell that will make you feel something.
Feel u brother when I tried listening to dream theater in 2010 was the first song I heard and great stuff after this my favorite album is awake

Ferragosto è un giorno che si apre come una parentesi in un calendario troppo pieno, una pausa necessaria in un mondo che corre inesorabile. In un’epoca in cui la produttività è diventata il metro di misura del valore umano, l’ozio si erge come un atto di resistenza, un gesto di ribellione contro l’imposizione di un ritmo di vita che non ci appartiene più.
Lontano dagli uffici, dalle riunioni interminabili e dalle notifiche incessanti, Ferragosto ci invita a rallentare, a disconnetterci da un sistema che ci vuole sempre attivi, sempre connessi. È una pausa che non ha bisogno di giustificazioni, un diritto che si rivendica staccando la spina e lasciando che la mente si liberi dalle catene del dovere.
L’ozio in questo contesto diventa quasi un atto politico, una dichiarazione di indipendenza dal culto del fare. È la riscoperta del tempo come bene prezioso, non da riempire compulsivamente, ma da vivere pienamente. In questa pausa agostana, non fare nulla è bellissimo. L’ozio di Ferragosto non è semplice pigrizia, ma un momento di riflessione critica. È il rifiuto consapevole del tempo scandito dalla produttività, un’occasione per chiedersi cosa significa veramente vivere bene. È un’opportunità per guardare il mondo con occhi nuovi, senza la fretta che ci spinge a passare da un’attività all’altra, senza mai fermarci a chiederci se tutto questo movimento ha un senso.
Nel silenzio delle città svuotate o nella quiete di una spiaggia deserta, Ferragosto diventa un tempo sospeso, un’utopia realizzata per un giorno. Qui, l’ozio ci insegna che non dobbiamo sempre correre dietro a qualcosa, che a volte il senso si trova proprio nel fermarsi, nel lasciarsi andare, nel concedersi il lusso di non avere un’agenda.
In un mondo che ci chiede costantemente di dimostrare il nostro valore attraverso il fare, Ferragosto ci ricorda che esiste un altro modo di essere, più lento, più profondo, più umano. L’ozio non è un vuoto da temere, ma uno spazio da coltivare, dove può germogliare una nuova consapevolezza, una diversa idea di libertà.
Domenico De Masi lo chiamava “ozio creativo”: “Non si tratta di pigrizia o disimpegno ma di quello stato di grazia, comune a molte attività intellettuali, che si determina quando le dimensioni fondamentali della nostra vita attiva - lavoro per produrre ricchezza, studio per produrre conoscenza, gioco per produrre benessere - si ibridano e si confondono consentendo l’atto e il prodotto creativo. E’ lo stato d’animo che avverte l’artista quando realizza il suo capolavoro, il bambino quando costruisce il suo castello di sabbia, il manager quando guida il suo team verso una méta innovativa, lo scienziato quando conduce con metodo e tenacia le sue ricerche. Se si realizzano le condizioni dell’ozio creativo, il lavoratore non sa egli stesso cosa sta facendo, dimentica il tempo che passa, tende la corda della propria vita oltre ogni prevedibile resistenza. Artur Rubinstein, a chi lo incitava a riposare, rispondeva: “Riposarsi? Riposarsi di che? Io, quando voglio riposarmi, viaggio e suono il piano”. E Joseph Conrad diceva: “Come faccio a spiegare a mia moglie che, quando guardo dalla finestra, io sto lavorando?”. Il concetto di “ozio creativo” ben si rispecchia nel pensiero Zen: “Chi è maestro dell’arte di vivere distingue poco fra il suo lavoro e il suo tempo libero, fra la sua mente e il suo corpo, la sua educazione e la sua religione. Con difficoltà sa cos’è che cosa. Persegue semplicemente la sua visione dell’eccellenza in qualunque cosa egli faccia, lasciando agli altri decidere se stia lavorando o giocando. Lui, pensa sempre di fare entrambe le cose insieme”.

Does anyone know what the scenes are from? That girl is sorta the look to who Victoria Paige is/was but it seems like these are clips from a movie and not official?
