Great video. I see that Mini Pointer bodied Darts are still in service; I am surprised as I thought they were on their last legs when I made a visit in 2019.
I didn't travel on one so can't comment as to their condition, however I do wonder if part of the reason that various Mini Pointer Darts have lasted so long across their fleet is a lack of mid-life short buses to replace them. Arriva, at least in the south, have seemingly been less common to invest in new shorter buses for many years now, however Gillingham have just taken delivery of five new MMCs.
@@irenacole7673 The 481 is still running, just only between Gravesend and Riverview Park now, The 483 now covers its Route between Bluewater and Gravesend
@LT466 423 has been axed completely, 481 used to run between Bluewater & Riverview park (some estate in Gravesend) and ran every 35 mins. Now it does a pointless 20 min journey between Gravesend and Riverview park and comes every hour, leaving out Bluewater, Swanscombe, Ebbsfleet & Northfleet.
@@LondonTransport466 The 483 used to be every 20 mins before lockdown and then that became every 30 mins, its re-routed to cover parts of the 481 route. Plus now it uses mpds which cannot cope with the capacity as it now has to carry passengers from the 481's route and 483's

I must admit I like the new Sapphire livery, but would have preferred if that was their standard scheme.
@@astock5000 Btw i miss the 481 route why do they have to change it to 483?

They've ruined the 423, 481 & 483 completely, but nice video👍
In what way?
In every way possible
