Watching sips play is so awesome, makes me almost feel as if i am playing and when ever he achieves something it's so great. It's more fun watching you plays sips than playing myself. Best series ever!
just a little heads up for you sips. whilst building your house you are going to need a lot (and i mean A LOT) of clay, sawn logs, iron and stone. i suggest mining the clay and stone near your house for a few minutes (just go afk while it's doing this, the veins never deplete) and stack up on around a hundred or so sawn logs. also you want to visit blacksmiths regularly and buy as much iron as you can carry. when furnishing your house you need lots of this, trust me. like so he can see maybe?

These ARE available in the main hall, but they don't tell you which containers fit the bill. If you don't have bedrooms, however, the steward, housecarl, and bard have nowhere to sleep ...
Sips, the place where you killed the stag, Angi's camp, is basically an archery range. You can level up your archery quite a bit if you talk to Angi and train with her
Sips, FYI if you wan't to really upgrade the features of your house like wall sconces you should hire a steward. For example Uthgerd, you can hire her so that she will always be at your manor and if you wish you can ask her to buy you furniture that way you don't have to run around falkreath constantly. And you can still take her on quests! (note if you want to make your kids move in your going to have to remove all workbenches from the house and give them beds) LIKE SO HE CAN SEE!
Probably should not forget that Hircine quest, seeing as the ring that is now cursed to your finger will randomly turn you into a werewolf. Who knows how akward a moment that could create...
Hey Sips, you can cut the lumber yourself at the mill in Riverwood. Just ask Hod and he'll say he needs to take a break. It takes a little longer, seeing as you only get 10 pieces per cut log while you get 20 when you buy it, but it's worth it.
If you talk to your companion inside the house it gives you an option to make them the Steward. Now you can have Uthgred as your Steward just like you wanted Sips.
Sips if you make someone like Lydia or Uthgerd your steward then you can speak to them and they deliver logs, stone and clay straight to your building site. No need to travel into the town every time you need lumber!
Hircine: "Don't dally while the prey flees"
Sips: "Let's go get some more lumber for my house" - classic sips
