They are prepping for the mail in ballots. My mother sent Mother's Day cards that arrived days after Mother's Day. She put them in the mail a week or two in advance.
My husband's father's day gift is still sitting at Palmetto. My local post office says it's been sitting in the palmetto facility for 6 days! Tracking keeps "updating" daily with the same message, "arriving later than expected. But it is moving through the system to the next facility". LIES! It's not moving at all. I would hate to be a person who's monthly medication is sent via usps...or someone who sent off a payment via USPS to the IRS...or any number of time sensitive, true need type of mail.
When did palmetto become the place out mail goes? My entire life ive never had issues like this. Items shipped to palmetto, to Alabama and back to palmetto... Im in Metro Atlanta for god sake

Can I come up there and find the gift I made for my grandchildren. I mailed on 6/17/24. Today is 8/8 and we have no clue where the package is.
