You should play the DLC after finishing round 1's best ending, it's difficult but not as difficult as this but not as easy as round 2. All you gotta know is 1. The dlc was cancelled and isn't canon. 2. Don't make too many "good" choices. Edit: you should also play Whispers of Soul, it won't be as hard, but will take a long time.
