When you made this video you said there was currently no prepackaged low starch diet for a cushings horse... Now being 6 years later, do you believe Blue Seal Sentinel LS to be a good addition to a mostly Alfalfa/Beet Pulp/Canola oil diet? (I cant use rice bran as my other horse is allergic to it. We use Flax seed instead.) Thank you for your insight.
DR. Mark I have followed your diretions and switched my IR and Cushings horses off pelleted feeds onto beet pulp and a vitamin/mineral mix. I was feeding Black oil sunflower seeds for fats, is olive oil better?
Hi Mark! We met years ago in Scotts Mills when we bought Rainy from you! What would you recommend feeding a standard Donkey and a mini donkey to help prevent Cushings?

Not Canola oil, thats the worst oil you can use

How do you feel about using copra? My horse can’t have alfalfa, we get sheath swelling
I thought alfalfa was considered a high sugar hay. I use Timothy pellets, Safechoice special care/ on another horse add beet pulp as well.
