I split my time between CA and FL 70%/30%. DeSantis is great. FL is a much better place than CA right now.

Honestly, DeSantis has a compelling personal story. He's from a working class background who worked to put himself through college (Yales) and law school (Harvard). He then eschewed the opportunity to make a killing at a white shoe law firm to serve in the Navy's JAG office before coming home to embark on his political career. Many adjectives come to mind to describe him. Sleazy is not remotely one of them.
