The first time I tried out the Honey Marsh level, I never expected there to be thunder and lightning. I used to be terrified of it as a child. It was one severe case of astrophobia.
I loved the banjo-wielding enemies in this stage, they'd be all like, "Hey, want me to play you a tune?" *plays banjo* "Die!" *whacks Spyro with banjo*
The music for this level was amazing. Even if the level itself made me want to throw my controller through my television screen. First time I played it, I used up something along the lines of twenty-six lives. Damn unwalkable honey...
Spyro 4's soundtrack seemed rather wistful and sad compared to the previous games. Has anyone ever noticed that? I wonder why that is. It's fitting since this was the final Spyro game of this type and the final game for which Copeland composed. Even so, the music in this game-especially this track and Dragon Realms- is really bittersweet. Especially the opening synths at the beginning of this track.
@@Eminster - No I didn't. The fact that I looked up this track at all four years ago and commented about how the music emotionally affects me... kinda implies that I really love the music, no? Honestly, I think Spyro 4 is some of Stewart Copeland's best work as a composer and that the music kind of saves this mediocre game for me.
I think this is a pretty good game(great one) if it hasn't rushed and the loading screen isn't too long, this game will be on par with the first three spyros getting the dragonflys pretty fun I like to see riptio and gnasty gnorc join forces.
i actually like this game, its just a shame it was too glitchy. the levels were great, the music was arguably the best yet, and the gameplay was still light-hearted (heros tail was too eerie for me). i just didnt like the fact that you had to chase after the dragonflies instead of just finding them. and i hated how glitchy it was.
This music makes me sad because it reminds me that this could have been a halfway decent game.

Despite the fact that Spyro 4 was terrible, the music was great. This is actually one of my favorite tracks from the entire series.
I really miss my childhood, I love playing the old spyro games. :) Thank you very much for uploading ^-^

Or you're just bull shiting. The sound track is amazing
@@Eminster Did I say it wasn't?
@@RyanStorey1231 no but you were implying it being lack luster because it's associated with a mediocre game

@captainhero518
The only thing I hated in this level was that tank minigame.
Hero's Tail might be my favorite Spyro game, but this was still such a huge part of my childhood. I loved it.
I just read your WHOLE conversation, that was comedy right there :)

he actually did do the music i guess he has a new awesomistic style!
YES thats what i think!!! although i must say some of the intentional glitches (ones you actually have to WORK to find) are pretty funny

Exactly.
This game wasnt so bad.
What's with the character's voice acting in this level? WHY. Do they sound like SpongeBob drunk on Demoman's whiskey?!
@sa8569 no,the game is good for it's time
ooooooooooooo
