  • Jeremy Kepner, MIT Lincoln Laboratory Fellow and Head and Founder of the MIT Lincoln Laboratory Supercomputing Center (LLSC), discusses the history of interactive supercomputing at Lincoln Laboratory. Interactive supercomputing at Lincoln Laboratory has a long history, from TX-0 in the mid-1950s, to the LLSC today. The LLSC’s novel approach allows users the ability to use powerful computers in a manner similar to the way they are accustomed to working on their desktops and laptops.
