Once I saw a short video of Angelina's uncle, Michael, carrying Angelina in his arms....either from a venue she had just done or perhaps before one. I have never seen it again. Seeing him carrying her , like the small child she actually was at the time, made my heart swell and gave me a real picture of her I had never had before. Do we really appreciate , and know just how hard she has worked.......barefoot in cold weather, then performing while ill. A tiny little girl with a work ethic most adults don't have. Now, I hope so much that she will have the notice of the whole world that she deserves . I will never forget that picture imprinted on my mind of Michael carrying her, then she stands before a crowd and belts out a song ( songs) like a grown woman. She is more amazing than she gets credit for.
Yes, Eva, the way she jumped into her Uncle Michael’s arms is one of my favorite images of Angelina. It shows the love and trust they have for each other. I’ve played it over in my mind many times, and hope I can find it again to refresh that sublime moment. I’m happy to hear of someone else being so affected by it also.

Unfortunately, the band was not close to the same level as Angelina, especially the guitarist did not have a good day at work. But in this song (When We Were Young) the band was pretty good.

When she goes into the crescendo on this song, it's one of my all time favorite moments with Angelina. STUNNING!!! Makes me tear up every time, and I've heard it well over 100 times. And the mix by Boris is an A+. Notice her humble response at the end when the audience goes crazy. She's like, "who me"? Maybe Simon was right when he said to her, "I don't think you know how good you are". Although by this time I think she knows that she's very good at what she does. Coincidentally, this was about 2 to 3 months before her performances on AGT Champions, and she's wearing the same outfit.

As she's gotten older, her performance level has increased, and I'm sure will become more nuanced over time. She's a wonder of a human being.
I wish Angelina would use this type of beautiful vocals when she is singing on TICTOC. Her comments about TICTOC are about 75% likes, but the other 25% are unhappy with her "new" style. If you have wondered why the ratio of thumbs-up to views is very small, and you are not getting enough comments to fuel your next reactions, that is probably the reason.
