That does also assume that the lobby is contesting eachother enough for that. In this case, yes, but it scales for every 2 people contesting the unit, so if you have either entirely unique (unlikely, but possible) or only 2-3 people contesting units, it's kinda sad.
@@kirinashia567Honestly 2 gold a turn isn’t bad either. Raining Gold only gives 1 and the only augments that give 2 gold per turn are prismatic. I feel the augment is annoying but pretty balanced as it encourages you to scout before taking and punishes other players for hard forcing (imagine finding a Powder last patch when everyone was forcing Ambushers/Family) you’d make bank.
@@bigsad8881 it takes effort, a board space (very relevant if you're in a reroll comp), and you still have to FIND the contested unit (ever rolled 60g on 5 to not find a 1 cost?) Only to reward you with, if 3x contested, 1 more gold a turn and no instant money like raining gold you compared it to (taking 8 rounds, a full stage to pass even if you ignore cost of buying a unit)
The Contested augments seems annoying to work with but 4 gold a turn for a gold augment seems kinda insane, no?
