the promo AA did when offering perfect his spot will forever be etched in my soul. cant watch that promo without tearing up. i put it up there with the hard times promo. maybe number 1 promo ever in my books.
The first time I watched Marty Lunde wrestle, I thought he would be a future world champ. NWA/WCW dropped the ball as they did with other outstanding workers (Undertaker & Stone Cold). Arn Anderson had several unique gifts and could easily carry a company as their World Champion. Arn could have been a story writer for the Big Screens or a TV Series.
Arn is also on Taker's Mount Rushmore for promos! I think Taker loved Arn's work, because he defined the enforcer role so well. The scary badass powerhouse in the back who wants to let fly in a psychopathic rage... Yep, Arn did it great and I think Taker took a lot out of his playbook. Of course, being one of the best agents/producers in the history of the business didn't hurt Arn's reputation in Taker's eyes at all.
i think he had you on top 4 promo, top 4 tag teams and most underated. and i agree with him on all except maybe tag team...not sure i put the brainbusters in the top 4....as you can see taker really loved the mid 80's awa/nwa...wcw/crocket era.
❤I always loved watching him.But his promos were the best.His 1 when Hogan turned about them not wear black hats.His 1 with Doom when he talked about kicking the tires.his spot one was the best.I will never forget him.He had a toughness that made him legit!
I would love to see Arn’s opinion and Paul’s opinion on the Mount Rushmore of Promos……… Hard Times, Arn’s Retirement and Spot, and what others??? Maybe Piper telling Hogan “I am the only guy you have never beat”?

I always enjoyed watching Arn wrestle. He's also so not like Ric Flair in that he's humble. He should've really been a world heavyweight champion.
