Ok so I just finished watching and I am really looking forward to trying the pizza and burgers. I already eat the Boca ones and really enjoy them bht it would be nice to try something else. Also I really hope my Wal-Mart steps up their game bc we are sorely lacking in the Vegan department. Love yalls channel

I’m in Southern California and read that the Mickey nuggets are going to be offered at Disneyland, so if and when it’s ever allowed to reopen, it’s a pretty cool thing.
They might have the nuggets to go at restaurants in Downtown Disney, which will probably open before the park does.
@@JuliasHairJourney Downtown Disney had reopened some months back, but I’m not sure that it got to stay open since Cali had new lockdown orders. It would be great for them to offer them though.

i am convinced you just haven't had mushrooms cooked properly some people do not brown them in which case they have a more uncooked taste and are slimy you have to brown mushrooms in butter and pepper to bring out that umami flavor

I have had super salty jerky and so not to waste them, i cut them in tiny pieces snd sprinkled them on salads, veggies, etc.

I had the exact same reaction to the Chao Mac, brutal. And I used to HATE mushrooms but that changed over the last year. I always thought they looked like slimy ears. But because they’re so healthy, I started sneaking tiny little chopped mushroom bits into food. Now I put entire slices in a baked vegan breakfast hash and I love it!

What is your favorite way to prepare/eat them?
@@ericad3850 I actually cut portabella mushrooms into strips. A light flour and almond milk batter(with seasonings of course :-)) then encrust in panko bread crumbs. Bake in the the oven covered and then uncovered for a crispy texture. Just one of my favorite ways to prepare them.

Your reaction to the Chao mac and cheese was so unexpected, like, instant NOPE! I wonder how these products go wrong . . . On balance, this haul was a success, and really enlightening to me about all the vegan products I have not seen anywhere else. Those Gardein breakfast bowls are my FAVORITE! I always add extra veggies to them though. They’re best on top of toast or I’ll even make breakfast crunchwraps with them

As we do have a Walmart in our town, y'all have inspired me to expand my shopping to look for new (to me) food options.
Last weekend I bought the Daiya pepperoni pizza and my thoughts on it mirrored yours. Between that, the corn dogs and a couple of others, it now gives me the satisfaction that I can (for the most part) depend upon your recommendations. I also bought the Gardin breakfast bowl and am looking forward to trying it myself. Sorry Andrew, I'm with Larissa, I like mushrooms. They're a good brain food, and I need all the help I can get.

I completely agree about the Nutiva spread! I loved Nutella and that doesn't come close to it. Andrew cracks me up with the mushrooms. My husband was that way until just this year. I've always loved them and cook with them and he hated them with a passion. But now he likes them. (He's 39) So, who knows, your taste buds may end up changing. My parents always told me that growing up and I never believed them but just these last few years mine have changed a lot. I love the video and I'm looking forward to more!!

Yes! If you have a Grocery Outlet nearby give it a whirl. Some items come and go but I can always find some fab vegan deals. Impossible burgers are 2 packs for $5 right now at mine...serious steal.

If you can find the Rigoni di Asiago Nocciolata brand of dairy free hazelnut spread, buy it! It will restore your faith in vegan Nutella! I’ve only ever seen it online or in Whole Foods. It’s so good and honestly worth the high price tag ($6-7 per container).

for those who would find this helpful Boca is owned by Kraft foods which also owns hormel and other large agribusiness conglomerates i support it being on the market because let's face it sometimes your grandma buys you a veggie burger to be nice and she picks boca because of brand recognition and i would never be like NO i don't want that its part of a large agribusiness Morning star is actually more ethical of the 2 large companies they are owned by Kellogs and they pay their workers living wages i feel knowing these nuances are important
I completely understand that. But also some of us work part time and thats about all we can afford on the frozen department. Im not saying the company is the best but when you have bills one hand and food on the other you just have to make it work, somehow.

The other breakfast gardein one is a sausage gravy type and it’s really good... a lil greasy but I rarely eat processed food and was actually craving ‘something kinda like fast food’ and it hit that 🤷🏻♀️😅😋

There were two Coconut Collaboratives both loved by you. Mushrooms: My daughter doesn't like mushrooms, onions or garlic. Saute those in oil, add Yondu (!) liquid seasoning (mushroom powder and chick'n powder optional) and water. Blenderize. We both like this gravy because there is nothing visual for her to pick out. Could thicken with flour and butter for another gravy option.

The free to eat oatmeal raisin cookies is where it’s at, I like them way better than the chocolate chip cookies.

The Acai are for dessert and snacks. The are good. But you have to eat them as soon as you take them out of the freezer. Great video!!!! By the way sorry if I missed it, but did you do the taste test on the Marie Calendar vegan pot pie sold at Walmart?
The Marie Callender pie is not vegan, it has plant based meat but still contains milk

I love that you guys do mention all the soy ingredients. It’s hard to find food without soy. So these videos are so helpful. Sad about Walmart brand since they didn’t have soy. 😢

Although it takes a lot longer to bake the burritos, they have that option because microwaves change the texture of tortillas (and breads) making them leathery.
I feel like it was never an issue eating them growing up but seem to mind now

Make sure you pop those corn dogs in the air fryer for like a minute or two they make a nice and crispy, they are so much better crispy than just coming out of the microwave.

My son had to go dairy free and we loved Nutella- the moment I saw you pick up that hazelnut spread I started saying ‘no, no, nooo! It’s not good!’ Lol
You HAVE TO try the best dairy free chocolate hazelnut spread I’ve found!!!! Now, to be fair, it is not at Walmart- I’ve only been able to find it at Whole Foods or online. But it is AMAZING! And before my son died we went through a jar a week!
Now that it’s just me, it’s still a staple in my home that brings a smile to my face.

I love the morning star corn dogs. After trying them I wanted to know where I could find just the hotdogs. Unfortunately Morningstars hotdogs aren't vegan
We found some recently that were, but they didn't taste the same as in the corn dogs, weird
It's insane how packaged your completed foods are. In india you mainly get everything from the farm and only some ingredients such as dairy free milk in stores but you really wont find completed meals like this. 😯
