Thank you Lila for having Patrick Bet-David on the show. This was such an engrossing interview. I love Mr. David's no nonsense style when approaching issues. He views things through a very empirical lens, and when viewed through this framework, you can see the utter bankruptcy of woke culture and the decline it has brought to the world. He hit the nail on the head, in minute 14:45 -15:40, that the leniency and "understanding" of many mainline Christians is what has allowed this moral decay to fester.

Lila, I have become a huge fan of yours. I appreciate how you kept coming back to the question, “… what is the right message to share with young men: monogamy or no monogamy?”
You were gracious, respectful, but clear! This is the first time I’ve ever seen PBD not give a straight answer.
My position as a 53 year old man who like PBD has had a checkered past. At some point you have to give up “novelty” for “loyalty” if you wanna grow as a man who is legacy minded.
I appreciate how you also held Wellers feet to the fire.
The area of monogamy is the toughest area for men, especially men who have a lot of options… but that’s where discipline, and setting clear boundaries for yourself come into play. PBD did mention the boundaries he sets for himself when he travels. So I’ll give him that.
You can be direct about your values and not be judgmental.
If you value staying faithful to one wife you establish boundaries, and you have to make a decision in your heart, and mind that you will be loyal to one woman, that is your wife. Then close as many doors, and set as many boundaries for yourself that you have to. Having a high sex drive cannot be the excuse for why you choose not to be faithful to one wife.
Values, discipline, boundaries, and accountability work the same for building a marriage that last just as much as it does for building a business that last.
Thank you for your platform, and for what you stand for Lila. Keep up the fight!

Those who practice human and social engineering are aware of three behaviors that apply to all creatures.
    1. All creatures act and react to what they believe is true.
    2. All creatures when attacked either fight, flee, or submit.
    3. All creatures are born with the potential desire to procrastinate.
Those who are involved in sales are taught that it is emotion that sells. Fear produces anger that results in a desire for safety. Fear can also be used as a means to control by attacking. (See #2). When attacked most people either flee or submit. Fighting is uncomfortable. It is not peaceful, and therefore avoided by peace loving people. The problem is, the only way that a person who associates with an angry/tyrannical person or organization obtain peace is by submitting to that tyrant.

Lila, I just started listening to your podcast and love it. Thank you for your bold, courageous, clear stands on the things that matter around truth and dignity. I like PBD and appreciate much of what he says. In this interview, what he had to say about the media, the fault of the "tolerant Christians," and the need for courage was spot on. (Although, his plum line for what is "Christian" was pretty off.) However, the foundational stuff he had to say about marriage and sexual ethics REALLY concerned me. I kept wondering, "What is his ultimate basis for truth and commitments?" He seemed to rely on experience as the standard and not God's eternal truths. Thank you for, in the end, bringing it back around to the eternal truths of God and that being the standard for our commitments and definitions. Blessings, and I look forward to listening more.

I like Patrick very much but he missed the whole premise of your question, in regard to marriage and kept dismissing it. I don’t think he truly understood or question and if he did he didn’t give an answer. But the episode was great!

I think he interrupted the question as if Lila was accusing him of associating with criminals, when really she phrased the question well by getting to the root of the intellectual debate. It's concerning that pbd didn't address the question at face value.

His defense of Tate is all about $ and views. He has a partnership with Tate in which PBD is a director on the board. His alignment with Tate is problematic. His being defensive and interrupting Lilia was disappointing. Lilia is a gem.

The advice from red-pillers who equate "high-value" with wealth & power could just be called "how to win among the pagans." No thanks. In *reality* (AKA the Christian worldview), every person is of high value. And if you want to talk specifically about what makes someone a high-value *spouse* , one defining feature is fidelity. We also know that in the kingdom of God (again, much more real and relevant than some pagan dynamic), "the greatest among you shall be your servant." So high-value husbands and wives are servants, not self-gratifiers.

I agree. What is missing from all these redpill definitions of high-value man is integrity and character.

I am not the most religious person, but grew up in the church and I absolutely agree. Value among people should refer to the content of your character, not how much money you have or how many people will sleep with you because you have money.

Every person has the ability to be high value, but their actions can make them low value. Every action has consequences to society, good things produce positive effects to society, bad things produce negative effects to society. This idea that we can "do whatever we want" ignores long term consequences and impacts to society.
