I have used Marantz, Yamaha, Onkyo systems and I'm strictly 2channel person. I know what you are talking about. Problem is, there is not much demand of audiophile products. Situation is so bad that on Yamaha India's website you won't find any two channel stereo products.
It depends on amp and spk matching but the old Sony spks mostly from compact systems are not so refined. Their qlty is just passable. This is just my opinion otherwise I am not against Sony or any other similar brand.

It depends on 4K tv. Usually a 1080p resolution movie will get upscaled automatically on 4K tv. The problem comes with 720p resolution upscaling which is not so good. I cannot say about other brands but I have used Sony 49" and 55" 4K tv (entry level models) and I did not face any such problem of blurring image, SD channels will definitely be a problem where you have to adjust the frame rate of the picture to match the SD transmission, so in tv setting choose auto frame rate. Try to play 1080p resolution and above in a 4K tv, all mainstream OTT platforms transmit on 1080p and above.

Jitna zyada powerful amplifier hoga utna matched pairs lagane honge transistors, kabhi aap notice karna sirf single transistor pair wala amplifier Accha sound karega kyunki usme matching ka issue nahi aata hai specially local amplifiers mein. Ye ke bada reason hai imported amplifier’s expensive aur acche sound karte hai with reliability. Recapping bhi karani padti hai after 12-15 years amplifiers ki shayad humare yahan koi nahi karta isse amplifier ki performance barkarrar rehti hai kyunki electrolytic capacitor dry ho jaate hai after few years.

Hello sir, I saw many DIYs using Computer SMPS for powering there Amplifiers and other components. Is this any good with respect to audio quality or there will be no change in audio if I replace transformer with SMPS or power supply. My point of interest is the audio quality and wans to know that what will happen if I use transformer vs high/low grade SMPS vs LED power supplies.
Strictly no. In a amplifier more than 1/3 of the price goes into the power supply unit. It should give clean power with sufficient current. Those low end frequency reproduction needs quite heavy study current. These smps are of commercial purpose just produce noise in higher volume. It can't give that depth and clarity

My friend recently purchased Norge Concerto Gold 1000 amplifier and he is extremely happy with it. He was using a western branded amplifier before which stopped working.
No doubt Norge is one of the top quality. But there is a catch 😀 its tuned perfectly for mids Indian music especially gazals and jazz sounds very good. You won't get that feet thumping bass drum feel😢 there is no loudness option either which helps low volume listening full and pleasant. Existing bass treble don't boost the frequency much very minute increase. You need perfect speakers and original CDs or Recorded music not dowloaded mp3. I bought this amp 15 years back still going good built like a military tank 😀 I am a bass lover 😣 so I bought a car equalizer on line and installed between the source and amplifier. Job done🤩. But those Denon Onkyo Marantz etc are of different class and they cost a fortune. Lets try to live with Indian Norge. Its like owning a Maruthi and a Mercedes 😂

Sir aap bol to sahi rahe ho. Ek ideal amplifier me every single component audio file grade ka hi hona chahiye, digital chineese pre amp bhi nhi use karna chahiye for excellent sond quality jis se har ek frequency ko suna ja sake. But sadly agar ek ideal amplifier le bhi le to use sun ne ke liye sun ne wale ke kaan bhi ideal hone chahiye. Age ke saath kaan har ek ideal frequency ko nhi sun sakte. Isliye humko lagta hai har ek thik thaak amplifier is sufficient.

I fully agree with u on all your points except the bass and treble. I feel it should be there to tweak a little bit on + or - side depending on room conditions, when I say little bit means just one or two points and listen at not very high volumes, just playing at listenable comfortables vol (say 60db)

I had experienced pluz amplifier its realy a solid amplifer and but the audio bord designe is old and lot of external wires creats distortion.. but it was a pure class AB amp

Mere paas Sonodyne superjetline he. 60+60=120watt 1977 ka Woodstock ke speaker he.1985 se sun rha hu aaj tak Dil nahi bhara na uske jesi sound kisi aur set me suni. Aaj bhi lajawab he. Aapne jesa kha full volume per bilkool silent he.
Sonodyne has its unique sound signature. Very good then when people started buying they increased the price equalent of Onkyo and Denon. These days they think they are in par withe Bose audio. So its off the table of middle class. Instead of Sonodyne people opt for Onkyo or Denon. I loved their Uranus series then.
I use Sonodyne integrated amplifier since last 13 years. Sound quality is superb. I also have Bose Line array system. It is a great sound system for live program. I use american microphone.

All the speakers are of BOLTON Brand old but still in gud condition. So waiting to see how perfectly we can have a better box design along with an amplifier, power supply and crossover if required. so I can design mine also.. 🙂 But one thing I want to say I love to watch your videos for knowledge offcourse, along with I love the base of your voice.. extreme basssssss you have.
Well said and some points are agreed, but you know the basic difference between DIY and foreign brands is reliability, design and RND. When you use an audiophile standard components and your design is poor you are not getting good sound also you have to consider the reliability factor. In my point of view, all type of signal control is required to fulfil the requirements and the same does not affect the signal. The flat mode sound is good but sometimes needs a little bit extra. You have to understand that the AC input power is not responsible for any kind of distortion of the audio signal. The DC power should be ripple-free and your filter system should be robust and stable. Not only amp, sources and speakers, but your room averment play a good role for good sound. Digital interface (not sources) is also responsible for distortion.

Maine pitaji se jid karke Malad se amp liya tha, tab dome norge, dnm etc option the, humne dnm speaker, cassette player,aur amp liye, saalon Tak Maine uske maze liye, ab sirf speaker bache hai , lekin woh din bhula nahi sakta. Ab maine suna hai saare products costly ho chuke hai, aur jo speaker mere paas hai unhe marammat ki jarurat hai.
DNM company se pata kare ho sakta hai wo repair kar sake par doubtfull hai kyonki itne purane speaker ke drivers milne chahiye. Aur India mein abhi bhi acche aur reasonable products milte hain ajj kee currency value ke hisab se, iss channel par appko sahi jankari milti rahegi.
Sir mera ek dout hai, mere pass ek 2.1 amplifier board hai, usme power on karne par koi noise nehi ati hai but jab koi song play karta hu tab halkisi ek noise ati hai, volume kam ya jada karne se noise jada nehi hoti hai, aur jab gaana band kar deta hun uske 1 second baad noise ana bhi band honjata hai, agar ap bata sakte hai kinayesa kiu ho raha hai to please bataiye ga sir 😊

I saw many DIYs using Computer SMPS for powering there Amplifiers and other components. Is this any good with respect to audio quality or there will be no change in audio if I replace transformer with SMPS or power supply.
My point of interest is the audio quality and wans to know that what will happen if I use transformer vs high/low grade SMPS vs LED power supplies.

Strictly no. In a amplifier more than 1/3 of the price goes into the power supply unit. It should give clean power with sufficient current. Those low end frequency reproduction needs quite heavy study current. These smps are of commercial purpose just produce noise in higher volume. It can't give that depth and clarity

No doubt Norge is one of the top quality. But there is a catch 😀 its tuned perfectly for mids Indian music especially gazals and jazz sounds very good. You won't get that feet thumping bass drum feel😢 there is no loudness option either which helps low volume listening full and pleasant. Existing bass treble don't boost the frequency much very minute increase. You need perfect speakers and original CDs or Recorded music not dowloaded mp3. I bought this amp 15 years back still going good built like a military tank 😀 I am a bass lover 😣 so I bought a car equalizer on line and installed between the source and amplifier. Job done🤩. But those Denon Onkyo Marantz etc are of different class and they cost a fortune. Lets try to live with Indian Norge. Its like owning a Maruthi and a Mercedes 😂

Ek ideal amplifier me every single component audio file grade ka hi hona chahiye, digital chineese pre amp bhi nhi use karna chahiye for excellent sond quality jis se har ek frequency ko suna ja sake. But sadly agar ek ideal amplifier le bhi le to use sun ne ke liye sun ne wale ke kaan bhi ideal hone chahiye. Age ke saath kaan har ek ideal frequency ko nhi sun sakte. Isliye humko lagta hai har ek thik thaak amplifier is sufficient.

I fully agree with u on all your points except the bass and treble. I feel it should be there to tweak a little bit on + or - side depending on room conditions, when I say little bit means just one or two points and listen at not very high volumes, just playing at listenable comfortables vol (say 60db)

I had experienced pluz amplifier its realy a solid amplifer and but the audio bord designe is old and lot of external wires creats distortion.. but it was a pure class AB amp

Agar amplifier minimum 4 ohms rating ka hai tou uss par 4-16 ohm ka koi bhi speaker match kar sakte hai, sirf power ratings jaroor match karna.

Sonodyne has its unique sound signature. Very good then when people started buying they increased the price equalent of Onkyo and Denon. These days they think they are in par withe Bose audio. So its off the table of middle class. Instead of Sonodyne people opt for Onkyo or Denon. I loved their Uranus series then.
I use Sonodyne integrated amplifier since last 13 years. Sound quality is superb. I also have Bose Line array system. It is a great sound system for live program. I use american microphone.

@@AbhisAVTech yes wating since I have watched your that video, I have 3 way speaker but confused in choosing better amplifier, also I want to add sub woofer along with 12 inch 80 W max 8 ohms woofer speaker, 5 inch 60 W max 8 ohms mid and 4 inch 60 W max 8 ohms tweeter speaker, all are in pairs . All the speakers are of BOLTON Brand old but still in gud condition.
So waiting to see how perfectly we can have a better box design along with an amplifier, power supply and crossover if required. so I can design mine also.. 🙂
But one thing I want to say I love to watch your videos for knowledge offcourse, along with I love the base of your voice.. extreme basssssss you have.

Well said and some points are agreed, but you know the basic difference between DIY and foreign brands is reliability, design and RND. When you use an audiophile standard components and your design is poor you are not getting good sound also you have to consider the reliability factor. In my point of view, all type of signal control is required to fulfil the requirements and the same does not affect the signal. The flat mode sound is good but sometimes needs a little bit extra. You have to understand that the AC input power is not responsible for any kind of distortion of the audio signal. The DC power should be ripple-free and your filter system should be robust and stable. Not only amp, sources and speakers, but your room averment play a good role for good sound. Digital interface (not sources) is also responsible for distortion.

Maine pitaji se jid karke Malad se amp liya tha, tab dome norge, dnm etc option the, humne dnm speaker, cassette player,aur amp liye, saalon Tak Maine uske maze liye, ab sirf speaker bache hai , lekin woh din bhula nahi sakta. Ab maine suna hai saare products costly ho chuke hai, aur jo speaker mere paas hai unhe marammat ki jarurat hai.
DNM company se pata kare ho sakta hai wo repair kar sake par doubtfull hai kyonki itne purane speaker ke drivers milne chahiye. Aur India mein abhi bhi acche aur reasonable products milte hain ajj kee currency value ke hisab se, iss channel par appko sahi jankari milti rahegi.

Sir mera ek dout hai, mere pass ek 2.1 amplifier board hai, usme power on karne par koi noise nehi ati hai but jab koi song play karta hu tab halkisi ek noise ati hai, volume kam ya jada karne se noise jada nehi hoti hai, aur jab gaana band kar deta hun uske 1 second baad noise ana bhi band honjata hai, agar ap bata sakte hai kinayesa kiu ho raha hai to please bataiye ga sir 😊
