Your video is good. Number 5 took me back to my childhood growing up in Trinidad and Tobago because that is exactly what we do when it rains. I was in for quite the shock when I emigrated to the US and found out that nothing stops due to rain.
I moved to rwanda in 2019 and even since then Kigali has changed, it’s changed an insane amount since he filmed this. April is still a very depressing month but it feels like it’s got less intense. The service and food has gotten so much better, it’s still very much developing and still has uneven development with most of it being in Kigali but atleast in the wealthy neighborhoods in Kigali it’s really becoming a modern international city
lol the more things change, the more they stay the same. Life stopping when it rains and bad customer service have always been like that in Rwanda. Can't wait to go back.
Thanks for the vid, I want to celebrate my birthday in Africa next year and trying to research to see which country has the best nightlife. For the remembrance, I'm glad to see that the country is processing it because I remember hearing about it in the news here when it happened and just feeling how tragic it must have been for the people but it's good to see the country moving on but not forgetting completely.
about number 5, I was so used to that and when I arrived in Winnipeg a town in western Canada it was -40degree Celsius I told my host I would not go to school so she said nothing. the next day same thing and she looked at me and said woman the weather don't stop jack here except it is accompanied by 60cm of snow, put on your clothes and go to school or pack up and go back home you can come back in the spring time. Today it is not an issue anymore
Thought I'd give some comments now, having followed u a while. Another good delivery and very resourceful. Pls, can u do a bit about the various districts within the metropolitan Kigali w landmarks like hospitals, shopping malls, centres, sports arenas, universities, parks, etc What about abt apartment\house rentals? Just a brief overview of Kigali and its suburbs, or divisions. Thanx kindly and keep up the great job!! Good Luck, sir.
Nightlife in Kigali is lit asf ( I love People, Ogopogo, Le must, Papyrus) I was in Rwanda like 2 weeks ago but i didnt get to travel outside Kigali like a wanted to cause i was alone( for the first time) but i had so much fun seeing new things that have been build the past couple of years, so people and so packed. PS i agree with you when it comes to the service its wack hahahah!! hope you going back soon, keep it up :)
i am a nigerian in love with rwanda, and i am planing a holiday in kigali. have been watching your videos but what i want to know is the traveling requirement. what are the requirement. thanks
theoisback thanks. pity you have left Rwanda would have been great to meet up. maybe next time. last question... where is the best brochette and beer place?
Yeah too bad. For a good drink I would recommend Pili Pili. Brochettes differ everywhere, but are overall good. (I didnt find any restaurants with "bad" brochettes LoL) Let me know if you find a favourite one.
LIFE IS SACRED THEREFORE PEOPLE SHOULD BE GIVEN THE HIGHEST RESPECT.....IF PEOPLE PATRON ANY BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT...THEY ARE DUE THE HIGHEST CUSTOMER SERVICE....OWNERS RESPECT YOURSELVES, THEN YOUR ABLE TO RESPECT OTHERS...TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO RESPECT THEMSELVES, FAMILY AND OTHERS...
Make a video about cheap mobile phone markets and cheap items nd cost of items in rwanda.. It may b very helpfull for other country peoples😊 I'm frm India nd im migrating nxt month for work so I also help me survive thr👍🏻 tnq
I am planning to move from Canada to Rwanda. I travelled to Bangladesh, Thailand few Asian country but I do luv to live in Rwanda and do business. I need to information and connection. Any advice will be appreciated.
Rewanda men look very typical African man,but some Girls look alike horn African people.althoigh,i know thst you jsve very distictive tribes from your recent popular history. Pls explain me more.
Jacob Cham it gives you an excuse to be late at school or work but actually everything doesn't stop. It just slows down especially if you have to move around a lot.
theoisback I sympathize with you, how sad and unfortunate it is that you didn't know about the memorial services that commemorate one of the greatest atrocities in recent human history which may have even caused you to leave Rwanda in the first place.(And how come you never visited your Country in over 20 years?
Don't be judgmental - we all are not privileged to do as we please. I don't know about the culture of telling people you they should be ashamed of the life they have but I think it's common sense to ask before judging.
I'm from South Africa and trust me safety is non existence, there is fear everywhere I appreciate the effort of security in Rwana
Yeah, SA will get their someday..🙏🏾
there*

lol the more things change, the more they stay the same. Life stopping when it rains and bad customer service have always been like that in Rwanda. Can't wait to go back.
whaha, lets hope for a better and lasting change this time :)
Customer service is ok to change but I don't want to change the rain impact... I love it, we have to pause in life to enjoy nature doing it's thing.

Rwandans should be proud of what they have accomplished. You have played a big part of it Theo.
It is not the whole April, it is only the second week. However remembrance continues for 100 days.

Jacob Cham it gives you an excuse to be late at school or work but actually everything doesn't stop. It just slows down especially if you have to move around a lot.
Yeah especially if there thunderstorms things really slow down. Here in Europe you can't give that excuse. Its out of the question
When it snows you do.

How come you didn't know about the Genocide, where were you born?
I didn't know about the commemoration week/month activities.
theoisback I sympathize with you, how sad and unfortunate it is that you didn't know about the memorial services that commemorate one of the greatest atrocities in recent human history which may have even caused you to leave Rwanda in the first place.(And how come you never visited your Country in over 20 years?
I visited Rwanda again after 15 years, at the age of 21. Before that, I didn't have the funds nor the company to visit Rwanda with me.
Don't be judgmental - we all are not privileged to do as we please. I don't know about the culture of telling people you they should be ashamed of the life they have but I think it's common sense to ask before judging.
the part about being late is bullshit! why Africa?? why
uhuhuh, you don't agree?
@@theoisback no I hate when people are late
This is not positive smh
