Flying on a Cathay A35K on leap day, what a great experience it must have been! I thought the refreshed IFE was great, especially when cabin lighting was low. A nice review overall! I remember watching your old flight reviews to YYZ, probably 8 or 9 years ago (when your channel had a different name, I can't remember what it was), and you inspired me, and some time next week, my first flight review is coming out on my other channel! Hi! I'm on the same seat next flight - may i ask if you were able to Lean back with the seat? I usually don't do that so i don't bother others, but this seat is in front of the wall so being able to lean back a bit would be nice!!! Thanks in advance!
Nice video. Just wondering, do you use tripod or selfie stick to film your flight videos? do you use sticky mounts when you film the aircraft wings? the camera looks very stable when you film your videos
@@jamesmoloney6497 mostly heavy loading on this particular route because CX has been reducing the service ( used to be daily flight before Covid ) . I was lucky ,got a last minute complementary upgrade at the boarding gate
first time im going to fly more than 3 hours, next month, i can not imagine i will be in it for 12 hours, im dead afraid ☺, but thank you for great video

Yes you can lean back, same amount of lean as other seats too
60% load, perhaps caused by an overkill price, but it is the largest Airbus A350, with an A350-800 the occupancy would have been much better.
A350-800? Never existed
Don’t forget the -1000 has a higher cargo capacity too and that Amsterdam is a major freight hub hence why it’s deployed there.

Flight was really good! Ticket was around £750, I did check a bag and I’d give food a 7.5.

Yeah I’d say the 359 seats are slightly worse overall
