System of Systems, AI, and Optimization: Application to Heterogeneous Swarms of Robots and Drones.
Speakers: David Filliat and Omar Hammami
David Filliat is a professor at ENSTA Paris and Scientific Director of the CIEDS. He specializes in Artificial Intelligence and robotics and works within the Computer Science and Systems Engineering Unit (U2IS). He is also the organizer of the Student Challenge "Distributed Intelligence" on drone swarms, which grows in scale year after year.
Omar Hammami is a Professor at ENSTA Paris and head of the Systems Engineering group. He specializes in Complex Systems, embedded systems, multiphysics systems, and MDAO (Multi-Disciplinary Analysis and Optimization) for both civil and military applications. Furthermore, Omar Hammami is the Vice President of AFIS, the French Association for Systems Engineering.
