Thanks Tony, it just seems to me there’s plenty of great modellers on UA-cam but doesn’t seem to be much for the beginner and the last thing we want is to put people off by seeing highly skilled modelling and thinking that’s what is expected.

Thanks for the sub, yes I switched to OO I found N was starting to get a get a bit fiddly for the old eye sight. Although I have kept my small collection of American N scale
Was planning a OO9 layout for myself, but now my little boy is desperate for a model railway and I've inherited more boxes of OO than I can care to count! In a nutshell this series, combined with your previous series, are ideal for me! The long standing plan (that will inevitably change a hundred times) is for a small OO layout - possibly even a Hornby Playtrains - for the little one while I board the loft and build a large OO layout with a OO9 interchange to keep myself entertained!
Very good video - looking forward to the next part. I’m sure the series will inspire many parents to build layouts that will give them (and their kids 😉) a lot of pleasure running trains.

WS thank you for the video, I know where to come now should my grandson request a layout, he already has Thomas and friends and enjoys visiting full size railways with his parents and grandfather so who knows.
