People who think TAJ Mahal is epitome of Indian architecture, I laugh on them.
It's just well advertised.
There are many hidden treasure for travellers and history enthusiast if they are interested in monuments or places in India ( you will forget the pyramids.😂)
Search kailash temple, for example. (1250 years old).
I am from Dehradun uttarakhand, India. It's completely different, a place like heaven. I have not travel to other parts of India but actually I want to travel to know the beauty and the other neg side. It will be very interesting for me too.

@@garitube09 most of the hindus are relocating to other parts of India from West Bengal due to increasing Bangladeshi and Rohinga Muslims in West Bengal and the present government is also too pro Muslim

Historical sites in India are more than whole of Europe, actually has on date. Even modern wonders are all over different cities in India. Many species of animals you see in European zoos can be seen on the roadside in India.
India is 5th largest economy….. of course we have under developed part and also quite advanced part ….. some parts are even better than Western Europe or USA…..but foreigners comes to see stereotypes

Please zuzana if you visit go to rishikesh and kempty falls or gangotri where the real ganga river starts from there only you could find foreighners and cleanest form of ganga

Ganga river is very long passing through different states . not all of Ganga river is polluted as it is in couple of places sterio typed . if you look for dirt , you will find dirt , it goes for every country even if they would be developed as countries with the head start of industrialization 300 years before independence while being renascenced . Just saying if you had any prejudice before, while countering them going forward .

India according to foreigners when they come to Delhi they only go to places like Old Delhi and Paharganj and if they go to Mumbai they only go to South Mumbai and Dharavi slums btw these places are not even 1% of India.

I guess, foreigner are used to seeing modern building and everything too much in order that they want to explore some hustle & bustle of narrow streets, choas of Indian cities. Also with kind of diversity India offer in colour, taste, culture, spirituality & clothes..India becomes attractive destination.
But media in west also made some stereotypes & portrayed it bad way.
