My son turned 17 yesterday. He's special. On his learners plus other stuff mechanical. Our joke is, mub clenching. Spell mub backwards. Teach a learner driver male, in a Suzuki 4wd, that we nickname the roadrunner, that a roundabout means give way to the right, not first in, first serve. His roadrunner is old school. It has its own special needs, manual, 4 gears, old, and rpms over 50kms per hour not miles per hour. The running joke is he won't be booked for speeding, the horn sounds like roadrunner and coyote is after him, the wiper blades are adorable and my son bought it 11 months ago and rebuilt the engine. We live in a remote community, so 4wd is a bonus. I wish I could share our pot holes, you'd laugh your head off. My boy shakes his head at vehicles we see, valued over $1hundred thousand driven by learners or p platers. It's my son, that ends up fixing the damage done to those vehicles in our environment.
