Hi how can I find the formulas behind the output results in abaqus?? To be specific I want to know formulas which the software uses to give the reaction forces..
Abaqus does not use units, like Ansys does.. Therefore you have to be careful when you input your parameters in Abaqus, to make sure it will yield the desired output.
It was just an example and since Abaqus doesn't use units, I didn't need to define any units for this example but when we need to define units, we have to calculate it in our notes because Abaqus, unlike any other software, doesn't use units.
thankyou, that's very helpful
thanks you, it really helped me

Merci Beaucoup! Monseiur
thx, very good!
Next time show the deck in the text editor. I use Abaqus Solver but not Abaqus-CAE preprocessor. Thank you for the video
Hi, can u help me?
What are the units of ReactionForcees in this video?
Thanks!!!

if you stick to a certain system like the SI or the IPS then everything just falls into place...
