This specific item is only for the Evoque, you'd probably want to have a look at this one here for the RR sport: www.iceboxauto.com/range-rover-sport-2012-17-l494-1025-gps-android-120-wifi-4g-carplay-bt-3205
Yes this would fit, The system is £759.99 and we install it for £175, it can be found here: www.iceboxauto.com/rangerover-evoque-2012-16-gps-android-10-carplay-oem-dash-display-rr006
That's the business fellas. I've got a 2012 Evoque kitted and big rims that still looks mint and need this to get rid of the tired looking screen. If I'm down in tropical Essex recommend anyone to fit, or do I need to go to some Ice shop in Basildon where spotty ginger lads with Subaru's with rizla decals hang out? Will have a look on the site, then phone and punish you daily with calls till you give me a mad deal 😉
Hahaha, We know someone in Ilford near London, mind sending us an email to admin@iceboxauto.com and we can get you some info sent out, as well as pricing etc. email us with a pic of your car's dash so we can see which menu you've got either Harman Kardon or Bosch, and we'll see what we can do
@@jamesbissonette Carplay tends to be hit or miss with things like that. It isn't just your car but across all brands. The reason is carplay is a one size fits all solution to a need that up until carplay was released tended to be very vehicle specific. In the future more carmakers will be working with apple to better integrate carplay into the driving experience. You might also look to the manufacturer or seller of the head unit that you purchased because there could possibly be a update that could fix your problem
How is the graphics of the rear camera on the screen. Better, worse or the same? Just like the original reverse camera? Are all lines moving? Or are some motionless? Does the graphic show horizontal markings on obstacles such as walls? ((I have the original camera on it)) Thank you in advance 😊
So this screen keeps the original BOSCH menu if you have that, so when you put the car into reverse it uses the original screens reverse options, meaning whatever you have there now should remain, here's a link to the items, since the ones in the description are unavailable now: www.iceboxauto.com/rangerover-evoque-2012-16-gps-android-10-carplay-oem-dash-display-rr006
Looked a bit unresponsive to the touch from your demo, also would have thought you would have set it up properly in order to make a video. E.g. navigation no longer works without a phone connected? Seemed to show a lot of useless things noone would use much but didn't show the main thing i.e. satnav, radio etc.
Hi, unfortunately, these are customer's cars so more often than not we don't have time to do an installation video, as we're on a set time schedule during our work day, apologies, we do however supply wiring diagrams, and provide instructions through our aftercare if you were installing a system from us.
Hi, this system is £699.99 on our site, the link is in the description, and you would also have to pay for any shipping, there are also optional extras available with this system you can add.
These units hardly ever work with the car's original DAB antenna, meaning there are a few ways of getting DAB onto the Android OS, the easiest is to download a DAB application onto the system, and then give it an internet connection either via Hotspot, or a SIM card. The next way is to use a DAB app from your phone while in CarPlay or Android Auto, the one most people use is TuneIN. Or you can add an offline DAB antenna which is the £40 mentioned, to get a DAB version which requires no internet, a small antenna is stuck onto the windshield, and an app is installed to link with the antenna to give you DAB, then additionally you can get DAB antenna FAKRA OEM DAB connector cables to link this DAB dongle antenna to the original DAB in the car, if you wanted to do so.
Hi the system would be £759.99 plus any shipping, if you're local to us we can knock the shipping off and have you come to collect the item, or if you needed us to install it too
Hi this system is £759.99 + any shipping necessary, here's a link to the item, you can change the currency in the top setting wheel to EUR if necessary: www.iceboxauto.com/rangerover-evoque-2012-16-gps-android-10-carplay-oem-dash-display-rr006

How's the other controls in your wheel. Are they still functioning properly like volumes, forward, answer phone calls, etc...
So all will work, apart from the Bluetooth Answer Call button, that's the only one we can't guarantee will still work
Backup camera still works?
Yes, the original camera still works with the system

Do you lose steering wheel controls with this aftermarket HU?
No, will work with the steering wheel controls.
@@iceboxauto I've had it installed and steering wheels only work when in "regular/old" system mode. Not in carplay
