- After switching from competitive weightlifting to golf at age 16, some said K.J. Choi would never be good enough to compete on the PGA TOUR. 21 years later, “Tank,” as his fellow South Koreans call him, is the most successful Korean player in PGA TOUR history with eight wins. He’s still going strong in his latest chapter - PGA TOUR Champions - where he hopes to continue Making History.

His win at Memorial was big too. He learned to play golf by reading "Golf My Way" and I'm sure that made it extra special when he won "Jack's tournament."
The Great Korean golfer k j choi!!!!
Wonderful !!!!
CONGRATS!!!! FIRST WIN!!! ON CHAMPIONS TOUR.
At first glance, it's a strong side, but when you look at how it responds to the audience, it's very gentlemanly and I like it. I think he is a leader in Asian golf with a smart playing style.
My favorite player
존경합니다🙏🏻
Thank you for this, I had been wondering where K.J. Was. He was always one of my favourite golfers on tour.
Very humble , my idol kJ
kj is such a beast
So you mean to tell me, this guy never picked up a club until his freshman year of high school, and still made his way to the tour. Insane
GOAT
This dude rules
What a legend. Watching this makes me wonder how great Anthony Kim could've been in the PGA today.
@kingwoods Woods dude was riddled with injuries. I prob would chill on the settlement if I were him too. Still miss watching him.
Love me a good golf bio ❤️
one of the best players to never win a major... still a solid career.
Best tempo
Super nice guy. I believe he is a good Christian.
The reason Korea produces so many good players? Work ethic.
And he wins today
Keep writing new golf history for Korean PGA players....
So proud of u, KJ!!!
