I'm from Toronto, and I went to P.E.I for the first time this summer to visit family. It's such a beautiful little island. I was surprised how musical it was too, there were so many ceilidh's!
I've only gone in the fall for the food festivals, but I hear summer is so nice! I want to spend more time outdoors, it's always a bit chilly and windy by the time I get there!
+Itsautumnslife They were filming season 2 while I was there! I was supposed to visit a lighthouse but the roads were blocked off with the actors trailers and security and a makeup van. I couldn’t be mad since I already binged the first season and I was a fan ☺️😂 I just wish I got a glimpse of the actors/actresses.
I loved this so much. I’m in total awe of the little fox y’all came across. So cute! It’s cool to learn more about the island I always read about in fictional books. :) Thank you for allowing me to travel with you to finally see the house of Green Gables.

I love Anne With An E! Actually! When I was in PEI shooting this video they were on location shooting for season 2---we passed their trailers on the road (names taped to the doors and all!) and I fangirled! We didn't see the actors themselves though :(

i went on a road trip to the east coast last summer as well. we rode to st johns in new brunswick, then halifax, lunenburg, and cape breton island. near the end of our trip we went to pei/charlottetown by taking a ferry and although i only stayed in pei for half a day i loved it. the landscape was beautiful and the food was delicious
When I was a kid we saw a Anne of Green Gables stage play practically once a year until we graduated elementary school. Haha. It's been drilled into my soul.
I always wanted to be PEI😍!! So far, I love Victoria BC because I’m living and feel like my second hometown!! And then I will go to Toronto, Quebec, Montreal and Ottawa next month. Thank you for sharing, I’m going to travel to PEI next time♡

I didn't record every meal, but I wish I did! They had lobster eggs benedict, lobster mac and cheese, lobster ravioli, lobster sandwiches.... I had a lifetime supply of lobster in a matter of days!
I did a east coast tour in Canada when I was 12 years old. PEI is honestly one of my favourite places. My absolute place is out in the west though... the view in Lake Louise in the Rockies is just gorgeous. I wish Canada was more accessible by public transportation. I feel like there's still so much I've never seen yet. PS: I love Anne of Green Gables. The staple go-to book for every Canadian haha.
I went to Ontairo for my honeymoon and we were told Cow's creamery was the best ice cream in Niagara on the lake and it was so good! There was also a Cow's cheese shop that had AMAZING local cheese, it was great! PEI looks so nice, I'd like to go someday.
Yeah! COWS creamery had cheese and butter, and the food blogger I was travelling with told me the cheese won some awards too. It was expensive and I thought it might be hard to bring back to Japan so I didn't buy any--but looking back I kind of wish I had!
It was surprisingly easy to take it back home here in the United States, we had an 8 hour drive. But I bet Japan would be pretty difficult. Maybe you'll have to try it on your next trip to PEI. 😉
You should visit Caraquet, up to Miscou in the summer time.August is Acadian day and there's a lot to see. Dress up as blue, white and red with the yellow star, making music also excellent place to eat and drink some wine. or.. there's always St-Jean to see the bay of Fundy.. not sure if you been there yet?
Prince Edward Island is one of my top places I would love to visit. ^^ I grew up reading the Anne series and fell in love with it. At my local library, as a child, I found the Megan Follows version of Anne of Green Gables movie series and had my whole family watching it. My dad even likes it. I've grown up, now, and my kids watch it. I am so happy you are sharing this visit!
+My Simplistic Pleasures I hear Cavendish is really nice in the summer for families! I’ve only been in the fall, but when it’s warmer apparently lots of families make their way out there for summer vacation! I think everyone would enjoy it. The red sand kind of makes you feel like you’re on mars or something.
I want to get to P.E.I. I live in Maine. Which is not too far away. My brother visited a year or 2 ago. I'm also learning Japanese and would like to visit and/or live in Japan someday.

+Simon Au yeah, unfortunately airfare is expensive and flying both of us across the world would have put my friends at Destination Canada way over budget, but I’m sure the video would have been a lot better if I had help filming. Maybe next time!

PEI is my favourite east coast spot - something surreally calming there. My first time seeing an ocean, and my last trip with my mother.
That's so bittersweet, I'm sure she enjoyed her time with you on the island though. It is a very calming, healing place.

2020年10月現在NHKで「anne」が放送しているので検索したらここにたどり着きました。まさかそれがMicaelaさんのチャンネルだったとは(^o^;。毎回色んなドラマを見て実在する地名や建物なのかなど気になり調べたりして見終わった後、ドラマオタクとしては必ず行ってみたくなります。Prince EdwardとかCharlottetownという町の名称などを見るとイギリスなのかフランスの影響が強かったのかな・・。Charlottetownに行ったなら是非あの教会を見たかった。建物の外壁を見ると多くがクリィミーな色使いで塗られていて、オシャレな感じは異国情緒を感じさせますね。
