One thing a lot of people like about the latest Hyundais is the CVT they use is a chain-drive system, not the metal belt system on Nissan cars. As such, it tends to be more reliable and has better acceleration from stop, too.
I am curious if I drive this to NYC garage, will they charge me extra for SUV. If I drive Kia Soul it will be no extra charge because that is hatchback. But this is under SUV catagory. And garage in NYC likely will charge me extra even though this car is so small.
I prefer the styling inside and out of the Venue, but the Kia Soul is slightly bigger, has more power AND better fuel economy, and is only a few hundred dollars more expensive when comparably equipped. I feel the Venue is a bit overpriced. It's based on the Kia Rio, yet the Venue carries about a $2,000 premium. I don't think a few inches in roof height justifies that.
I'm considering either a Kona or Venue, I would like to get something with all wheel drive. Does the Venue come with all wheel drive or just front wheel drive?
It's a nice car. I almost bought a 2023 Limited in the same color. The dealer lost his sale because the car was not ready for a test drive (I'd have had to put a deposit down and wait), and they insisted I take a $1,400.00 needless package of fob insurance, Vin-etching, and pin-stripe protection. These cars don't have engines that catch on fire. However, some may burn oil. Does anyone know if that is a problem?

I have o e and the cup holder in the back actually goes on the floorboard and is wedged in so it doesn’t tip.

Good way to put it and hopefully this will help people make their decisions. But I kind of like the look of the Venue honestly.

I prefer the Venue styling over the Soul but haven't really seen a Kia Soul interior in Years like alot of years like 7 or 8
I like that the sunroof is standard on the sel
Plus the 17" wheels that aren't standard on the soul

The Venue does not come with AWD. It is solely a front wheel drive car.

I couldn’t answer if they burn oil because I never owned one. But maybe check some forums out.

The trunk space cover can also be lowered for extra space around 4.5inches
