Sri Aurobindo Integral Life Centre

The Sri Aurobindo Integral Life Centre, dedicated to Sri Aurobindo - his vision and thought - aspires to be a global hub of study and research in his philosophy and work. The centre consists of a team of scholars, teachers and thinkers engaged in disseminating the vision and works of Sri Aurobindo amongst the youth of the world in a language that the young can resonate with.
The Centre was conceived of by Shri HP Rama, founder of Auro University, to become the living soul of the university, a creative hub for in-depth studies in Sri Aurobindo.
"This centre should become the soul of Auro University, helping all those open and interested in the human future to come to the new consciousness that Sri Aurobindo represents."
On the occasion of Sri Aurobindo’s 150th birth anniversary we are fortunate to inaugurate SAIL C - Sri Aurobindo Integral Life Center- a project by Studio Naqshbandi, Auroville- the flagship project of AURO university at Surat, Gujarat.
It took 13 years from the first sketch and 4 years of construction to complete the 30000 sq ft building with another 25000 sq ft of bio ponds and 2 acres of landscaped gardens all around. It has a 120 seating Satsang hall, different meditation spaces, a library on books of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, a Zen garden, all surrounded by water and gardens.
